“We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“

“After reading good reviews, we recently dined at this restaurant and were impressed. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious, with flavors. Moreover, the menu had a wide variety of food options. The drinks were also excellent, and the service was good. The interior was eclectic, with large graphics on the wall, artificial plants, small decorative pieces, and combinations of colors. “I’ve been coming here consistently for the past couple of months. Their menu has a great selection of standard Thai dishes and other dishes that you won’t be able to find anywhere else in NOVA. I’ve tried their curries and noodles and they were great but I love picking from their Street Food Menu. Every time I come here, I try one “normal dish” and two “new” dishes. All of them have been good and very authentic (at least to what I remember from my travels to Thailand).Their seafood is always perfectly cooked. I recommend their calamari appetizer and Hoi Tod (Mussel Pancake). Both are crispy without the seafood being overcooked. The food also comes out quickly and tastes freshly cooked.I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more reviews!! “We went here during happy hour on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It wasn't busy at all. Our server was attentive and ensured our order was correct and we had everything we needed! The food was good! Definitely recommend for a sushi happy hour. We got miso soup, house salad, spring rolls and a few sushi rolls. The spring rolls were so hot, fresh and crisp. The rolls were yummy and filling. “Make no mistake - this is the Padaek location to go to if you have a choice, not the Arlington one. The Arlington one is significantly closer to my place but I always end up making the trek out to Falls Church because the OG location is simply better. Recommendations: the Naem Khao rice salad is crispy, crunchy, savory and delicious - I recommend getting it with the tofu, even if you're a meat eater like I am. I order the Ping with pork shoulder literally every time, because it's a fantastically heaped plate of seared meat with a nice mildly spicy dipping sauce. It also comes with a bag of tasty sticky rice that makes a low-carb eater like me abandon my low-carbness, at least for one meal. Padaek Falls Church will always be on my list of places to take out of towners.“

“Jackpot! I've been at this plaza every other week for a year and never noticed this spot. Thank goodness we decided we found this place as we searched for a new Thai spot to try. The food was just outstanding! The perfect amount of zest in the Tom Yum soup, authentic flavors and chewiness of the Phad Thai, and the super crispy, but moist, fried chicken served with the gai grob massaman. The servers were incredible attentive and carried a positive attitude. “Ordered through Uber Eats. The bill was $60 with tip but after I received the food the receipt showed a service fee charge of $7.50. No where on Uber Eats did this charge show, only their delivery fee of .49 cents, taxes and tip. I pay a yearly subscription for Uber Eats that will now be canceled. After all was said and done the bill came out to $75. The food here was good, portions small and not worth $75.“

The food was terrific, and the chef cooked each dish with masterful skill. We started with fried calamari, which was made from fresh squid and had a clean taste. “I absolutely love this new Thai place at Harrison Street! I got takeout recently and ordered a handful of items new to me--I particularly enjoyed the "Ped Grob Pad Gra Pow" (or crispy honey duck with basil). I also got some of the classics including Pad Thai which were great. When I arrived for pickup, I was the only one there but a few others arrived also to pickup. It appeared to be a husband-wife-duo running the establishment and they both came out to say hi and were extremely friendly and helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes for a very large order. The sushi is okay, more like a 3.5/5 but I do enjoy the sashimi and the rolls that they give.
