“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

“There is a lot of Thai in the area, but this place seems to get it right every time. Some of my favorites continue to be Chicken with Eggplant, Chicken with Green Beans, and Drunken Noodles. And there is nothing like washing it all down with a cold Singha. Fantastic flavors all delivered with great service.

Dining in can be a challenge some times as the place is small and attracts a lot of customers. So plan accordingly. Or, take out is always an option.“

“I went here with my sisters and found the place empty. I was confused as to why, as I later found the food to be great! I had ordered the halal chicken ramen and added spice. It was warm, yummy and the chicken was seasoned amazingly. I ordered the edamame, and for 6.50 I expected a little more than what I got. I enjoyed the self serve water dispenser. I am giving a 4 - star review because my sister had ordered separately (she got the same thing) and her broth was very bland. As someone who does not have halal options near them, this was great!“

With all 5 star reviews I had to check it out as I've been wanting some drunken noodles for awhile now. It's located in a small inside eating shopping center within a bigger outside shopping center. I got the drunken noodles, with a medium spice and added chicken. It was good (not the best I've had but good) so much so that I planned on only eating half but found it hard to want to save some because I just wanted to eat it all. Would I go again, yes.“

“One of the best Thai food experiences I’ve ever had! Authentic homey Thai food, friendly people, and super cozy decor! Even though it’s a small and inexpensive place, everything was awesome! The Thai milk tea was very refreshing, the Red Curry was authentic and flavorful, the duck was crispy and seasoned perfectly, the fried chicken was airy and crunchy, and the Khao Soi was my favorite, it was super flavorful and amazing texture! If I had to be nitpicky, the Thai tea was a bit too sweet, the duck was a bit salty and the fried chicken was a bit underwhelming in flavor, but overall the meal was very well rounded. The interior of the restaurant was also very quaint and cozy, with very cool decorations like fresh flowers and some nice paintings. Service was very attentive and came to refill drinks and check if we needed anything multiple times. “I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.“

“The restaurant is tucked inside an apartment complex. Inside though, was nicely decorated with two levels. The food was tasty. The carryout entree was provided in a two tier plastic bowl that is unique for this area. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back again and try more dishes. Definitely worth it for fine in or carryout.“

Stopped by after an event, and we were warmly welcomed by one of the staff. We did takeout and the portions were generous!

We got chicken cashew, pad Thai and pad see yew with their fresh Thai tea.

Service was quick, and the surrounding ambiance is pleasant. Very clean with fresh flowers on the tables.

But really, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the food is delicious!

“The ambiance of the restaurant, Pasara, was excellent: quiet, impressive, well decorated, and clean place. The service was good and quickly served us. The food was excellent and the reason why I gave this place 4 stars. We stopped here for a brief & small dinner of appetizers before going to the movies. We ordered summer rolls and calamari. The food was well prepared. The calamari was the best I ever had. The summer rolls were good but not the best I ever had.
Two appetizers and a soft drink with 20% tip for $37 . Fair prices for two medium size appetizers and a Diet Coke. These were the highlights of our visit here.

The downside:

Glasses & dishwater looked old. Scratch or wear marks on rims of glasses.

The ice water they gave us tasted like it came from a faucet or unfiltered.

There were no happy hour drink specials or dining specials.

Service was quick to seat us yet slow in taking our orders.

Even though the calamari was the best I ever had and the highlights of this restaurant, I was not compelled to re-visit this place as soon as possible like other restaurants in the past.

There are other Thai places in the area that offer excellent prices for excellent & larger quantities of food with dining specials. Yet this place is convenient and close to the movie theater and stores . The food is excellent to good for fair prices as well.“
