“Delicious spicy beef noodle soup“

“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

“I went here with my sisters and found the place empty. I was confused as to why, as I later found the food to be great! I had ordered the halal chicken ramen and added spice. It was warm, yummy and the chicken was seasoned amazingly. I ordered the edamame, and for 6.50 I expected a little more than what I got. I enjoyed the self serve water dispenser. I am giving a 4 - star review because my sister had ordered separately (she got the same thing) and her broth was very bland. As someone who does not have halal options near them, this was great!“

“Gracious staff welcomed us in. The restraunt was very clean and the decor is beautiful. There are so many vegan options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to try first. We ordered the brown rice garden rolls, pad thai and congee. Everything was delicious. We plan to be frequent customers, and maybe eventually we'll be able to try everything on the menu.“

“From the moment we walked into Umpli Dumpling, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere is welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious; our waiter, Jonathan, recommended the fried pork chops, the new pork belly, and the chicken ramen.

However, what truly stood out was the service. Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional. He knew the menu inside and out, gave us excellent recommendations, and made sure our drinks were never empty. “We admittedly did not pay attention to the hours of operation and came after 2:15 (they close at 3 for a break prior to dinner hours) with a party of 8.... thankfully we were the only party, otherwise we could have been turned away. But the sweet woman seated us and let us know nicely. We did our best to eat quickly and respect their closing time so that we could come back shamefree lol!

“Was lucky to be in Barcroft Plaza today, and stopped to eat for the first time at HoneyGrow! An employee explained their menu and options, very helpful. I ordered the Greek salad with banana honey bowl- the food was very fresh and delicious! They even have a nice patio area out front. Highly recommend!“

“Honeygrow was bright, inviting, and a great first experience. Beverly was super helpful and friendly, even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I tried the chicken shawarma and garlic butter chicken — the shawarma wasn’t really spicy to me, more of a sour/pickled flavor, but the garlic butter chicken was delicious. I also liked the digital menu with pictures and that they offer samples. I’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding.“

“Best pho I’ve ever had! I take my friends here to show them and they all love it. I usually do takeout but I dined in today, the food came out very fast. I usually prefer a more spaced out seating arrangement but that’s my own personal opinion and it isn’t even possible because the place is small. It doesn’t take away from the beauty of this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!“

“I’m obsessed with Vietnamese coffee and Banh mi. This Vietnamese coffee was definitely hitting the spot for me. It had the flavors and taste that I love. The barista was so helpful when I asked him questions. I highly recommend this place 10/10. The only thing I would like for next time is less ice as the ice to drink ratio wasn’t what I wanted but the flavors made up for it. I just wanted more drink and less ice. The pork banh mi was 8/10. It tasted great I just thought the bread could be better. I got it with the side of spicy mayo and that was delicious as well. The size of the banh mi was perfect for the price you get a big size portion. It was cut in half as well which I love so I can take the other half home and eat it later. Both places are inside the same space. There is lots of outside parking. You order at the kiosk and pay there as well. There is one for each place.“

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. “Whenever I craved for a bowl of Bun Bo Hue, Hai Duong eden cant go wrong, even today is not even cold outside, I still drop by and get my self sweaty from the amazing spicy broth (its worth it). Everything else is also really good and its also a perpect spot for you and your friends to sit and hang around, they also serves many Vietnamese street food so that we can just sit, talking and have a good time. “This location is it!! The other locations don’t compare in terms of service and quality of food. Everything tastes fresh and so flavorful!

I tried the Herndon and McLean location. Every time I go, it just misses something compared to here.

Customer service is simple and straight forward. They’re always looking out at the tables in case anyone needs anything and they’re fast!

“We went on Saturday around 6 pm and were able to find parking. Food and service were excellent. Not very busy. However, they are known for more late night business.

Keeping this review here from December 2025 or so: 3 stars
We have been trying to go here with no success. There is never amy parking even after sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins waiting on someone to come out. Surrounding parking areas are blocked off or have towing signs posted. We will keep trying to go, however, since the reviews are good.“

“Incredible experience we get one hour lunch most places do not let us order in advance so we have to go order and waste a good 20 to 25 minutes for food and then quickly shove it down and then ask for a check. This place they let us order an hour in advance so when we get there to dine in the food is ready. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. The food is the main star everything I have tried here taste absolutely perfect The spice level you asked for you get they are very conscious about spices. I've gotten red curry green curry drunken noodles and pad Thai along with other appetizers and they are always delicious the side dipping sauces are delicious please try this place if you get a chance you will not regret it and the prices are decent.“

“My husband Adam is on chemo for pancreatic cancer. Today was the first time in three weeks he felt up to going out. Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. The manager replaced his first meal with something he could tolerate and enjoy when he realized he couldn’t eat his usual favorite menu item. Excellent and caring service. “There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! I love the quality of their meat, the flavor of their broth, and the consistency of the meal each time I order. I definitely recommend this restaurant and feel spoiled to be able to eat there so regularly. 💯“

The staff were warmly welcoming, taking the time to explain the dishes and making sure we had everything we needed.
