Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“

My family and I shared the Bún bò Huế (spicy noodles), hoành thánh chiên (fried wontons), Gà xào húng quế (Thai basil chicken), and Bánh hỏi đặc biệt (Vermicelli platter). The food was so good, my favorite was the Bánh hỏi đặc biệt. The owner went around to every table and checked up on everybody and our waters were being refilled constantly. Everyone was really nice. They don't typically do anything special for birthdays, but the owner gave me a free mango sticky rice!! Even after we paid and started to leave, the owner came out to us and recommended the ice cream place next door. I really appreciate family businesses and loved to see that traditional foods are still very accessible to people with dietary restrictions. “This is Sushi Umi located in Herndon, VA. It's a great Japanese restaurant that has great food and sushi. The setting is super cute and the service was great. My waitress was really nice and attentive. She always made sure that I had everything I needed. The star of the show is the "Taste of Umi" which allows you to taste several dishes. My favorites were the eel and the fish roe!!! Just when I thought the meal was over, the chef gave me an extra piece on the house!!! It was a lovely tuna bite. Check it out if you have some time.“

“This place is the ultimate sleeper. Came in sweatin a little bit because of the lack of asian representation in the building. Came out egregiously full and happy as can be. The man that runs this establishment was beyond kind and his granddaughter who served us was respectfully and also kind. On top of the excellent service, the food is what truly hit the spot. The pho was some of the best I have ever had. The broth was flavorful to the point no condiments or extras were required. You can shower in that stuff. The chef was generous with the meat and he filled our bowls to the brim. Pupusas also went stupid. Crazy concept to have Salvadorian and Vietnamese fusion but it works. At the end of the day, I satisfied two deep cravings of a gnarly pupusa and some refreshing pho. Absolute sleeper. Had to get rolled out the restaurant because I gained a solid 30lbs from our exceptional meal.“

“Consistently good consistently clean. I probably have been here 12-15 times. Its good food for a fair price. I typically get the same thing, a butter chicken stir fry, and every time it taste great. I usually do mobile order and have always had it ready by the time I arrived. The staff are friendly and helpful when accommodating allergies. There is plenty of seating even during the lunch hour.
