“Overall, the food was impressive for a pick up order. Between the green curry, shrimp pad thai, and chicken satay, each dish was incredibly flavorful and well done. The pad thai was a highlight for sure with the noodle texture being perfect and savory profile balancing each component well.

My critiques are that the pick up order took 50 minutes to complete. I am not surprised given how once I arrived (peak dinner time on a Saturday) the restaurant was PACKED. In terms of the food preparation, I was slightly disappointed that the green curry only had 3 pieces of eggplant and the pad thai had 5 shrimps despite being $4 extra.

I would be curious to try the dine in experience when it’s not so busy. All the dishes on their menu sound amazing to try and when I walked in their bar was non stop making drinks which looked like a good sign.“

“Ordered takeout since it was getting late. Got the vegetarian pad Thai that comes with tofu and got some extra vegetables since I like veggies. The flavor was so good, the spice level was perfect, and the aroma of the noodles was intense. The quantity was also really good, as I made 3 meals with hefty portions out of one order. Could’ve even made it 4 but I was really hungry one of the times after skipping breakfast.“

“What’s not too love at Thai Basil. Aside from the food, they are always busy but will always make room for my family for birthdays etc... we are a large family usually 20-30 people. They know us well. You can take Thai cooking classes there too!“

“We decided to try it out for Friday night takeout. As soon as we placed an order, they called us to let us know that they didnt have fried rice. They offered to replace it with a different dish or asked if it would be okay to wait for 30 mins while they had fried rice ready. We decided to wait and glad that we did because that basil fried rice with chicken was delicious. We also had kra pow gai and that was very flavorful as well. Can’t wait to try more dishes. Glad we have this place so close to us for a takeout.“

“I ordered over the phone then went to the wrong Chinese take out. 🤦‍♀️ We finally get to the right place 25 minutes late but everyone was kind and they even gave me $2 off my order because they didn’t understand about me asking about a children’s size portion (which they do not have.) I told them there was no need to give me a discount, but they did anyway. 😊

We get home and amazingly enough our food was still hot! 👍 I thought the moo goo gai pan was pretty good, my daughter liked her Lo mein, but my husband thought the General Tso Chicken was just ok.

“I had a great experience at Nalak Thai. The food was so delicious, and the portion sizes were really good as well. I also ordered the Ube Thai tea, and it was amazing. Not only did it taste great, but it was also presented so cutely. I loved the heart-shaped straws and the little teddy bear on the drink. It made the whole experience feel extra special and adorable.

The service was excellent too. The servers were very attentive, and the food came out quickly. Overall, everything about the experience was wonderful. I would definitely come back again and would highly recommend Nalak Thai to my friends and family.“

“This is seriously some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We tried the green curry, papaya salad, pad Thai, and Tom Yum soup and every dish was tastier than the last. “I love this place, a great pickup after work or to eat in when it's cold. Their fried rice is awesome and the panang curry. Their appetizers are also all very tasty.

The staff is always very welcoming and friendly and it's always appreciated after a long day at work!“

“The crab fried rice is literally the reason my husband and I travel over an hour away for! We live in Maryland and make the drive each time because it’s so flavorful and a great portion size.

Their drunken noodles are also delicious with your choice of protein. The decor is very pretty, and it feels like a fine dining experience. Highly recommend!“

“Got the wonton noodles off the menu instead of grub from the hot bar. They were okay. Definitely add some sriracha to kick the flavor up.

Recommendation to the owner…offer wonton noodles in a wet and dry form. Wet is what you do now. Dry you cook the noodles and add the noodles, wonton, and buk choy to a platter, and pour the soup in a smaller bowl on the side. The noodles and wonton stop cooking this way and don’t turn into mush. Also, invest in a jar of sambal!“

““MyHome” is located in a quiet part of Reston with plenty of parking. It takes many visits to fully explore the menu, so start with your Thai favorites and go from there. Friendly staff. “Five stars does not do this place justice. Excellent food, customer service and atmosphere. I had the Crispy Chicken with Kapow Sauce. The crunch on the chicken was next level, and the flavor was off the charts. The sauce on the side, amazing. Just the right amount of spice, and the vegetables in it were cooked just right. The rice is great by itself or with the sauce on top. This was my first time here but not the last.“

“My friend and I had a wonderful birthday lunch at Sakoonthai. Their food is so delicious, authentic and the place is very clean. I should say their service is amazing. The food prices are very reasonable.

“Incredible experience we get one hour lunch most places do not let us order in advance so we have to go order and waste a good 20 to 25 minutes for food and then quickly shove it down and then ask for a check. This place they let us order an hour in advance so when we get there to dine in the food is ready. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. The food is the main star everything I have tried here taste absolutely perfect The spice level you asked for you get they are very conscious about spices. I've gotten red curry green curry drunken noodles and pad Thai along with other appetizers and they are always delicious the side dipping sauces are delicious please try this place if you get a chance you will not regret it and the prices are decent.“

“Stopped by this spot on a whim and decided to randomly try a new Chinese place—and wow, this one really hit the spot. Everything was so good. The service was excellent from the moment I walked in; the gentleman who greeted me was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.

The food was delicious, and I absolutely loved the Singaporean noodles. They also have so many options that you don’t typically find at other Chinese restaurants, which was a nice surprise. Service was quick, portions were great, and I really appreciated that they use recyclable containers.

There’s also plenty of parking and lots of room inside, which makes it an easy, stress-free stop. Overall, just a really solid experience with great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back.“

“My neice wanted to go to her favorite place for her 18th bday, so my sister called the Chin Chin Cafe and they said no problem. They had reserved tables when I arrived so I could decorate. Raymond was the MOD and was very helpful. We also had great customer service from the 3 employees working that night, it could not have gone any smoother! The timing of the food coming out was perfect!! Everything from the appetizers to the sushi to the main course dishes were delicious and plentiful. All our guests, especially the bday girl, were very happy. if you have not tried them yet, do yourself a favor and do so.
