“Food: I ordered spring rolls, two drunken noodle jae, and thai tea for carryout. I've been going here for many years, and just like always, the food was delicious and fulfilled my cravings. Service: I understand that this a family owned business, and the staff are always friendly and professional. Ambiance: It's a very cute and cozy spot, fun for dates with a significant other, friends, and family.“
“My fiance saw this place on an IG reel so she really wanted to come try it out.The service was incredibly friendly and fast. The food is well priced and super tasty. I highly recommend the panang curry and the drunken noodles(these are spicy ?).The dessert drinks are the star of the menu. I could come back dozens of times and try something new. I got the Thai iced coffee and loved it. My fiance got the creme brulee matcha latte and it was super creamy and smooth. We will 100% be back!“
“Our server was amazingly attentive and friendly. The food was delicious - we ordered a variety of items and everyone was very pleased with their order.Vegetarian options: There is a good amount of vegetarian options, definitely recommend for a vegetarian.“
“This restaurant is the BEST Thai restaurant in all of Fairfax. And I have had tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area. Their pad Thai is perfection, and their sushi is so beautiful it almost pains me to eat it because it's so beautiful but it's DELICIOUS. They also have great customer service and had our order ready quick and efficiently.“
“Court side Thai is a great cozy place in downtown Fairfax. Very cute entrance. The Thai food was fantastic, I got typical pad Thai, but with scallops which were amazing. My wife got the pineapple fried rice which she also enjoyed. The court side Thai dumplings for an appetizer were perfect.“
“This Thai restaurant is a very unique and cozy spot in the Herndon area.We went on a busy Friday night and still the service was super quick and the food was spot on. We ordered Basil fried rice and chef’s fried rice, both were pretty good. The basil fried rice was full of flavour, and I would recommend it more than the other dish. For me, the biggest highlight was the decor, it is probably the cutest and well decorated Thai place I have been too in NOVA. Overall, if you are looking for a cozy place to dine in, I would definitely recommend this spot!“
“I usually come here on Friday nights to eat, drink and vibe to the music from the live DJ. But for some reason the speakers are messed up tonight. Can barely hear a thing. The vibe isn’t the same. I hope they can fix the speakers soon or I may have to find another spot to vibe at on Fridays.“
“Loved it! Had the Pad Ped with ground chicken after getting a recommendation from the lady working there. Normally, I always get the Pad Krapow. My meal was really good- hot, fresh, and well prepared. I was very pleased with the service I received. I will definitely return here. I just wish they opened a little bit earlier on Sundays. They don't open until 4:30 p.m.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“
“The Thai dishes are very flavorful and the spicy dishes come with a nice punch! The Pad Thai has an extra flavor of citrus (lemon) which allows you to have more and more without feeling heavy. You can taste the "wok heat" from the Pad See Ew dish. The spice will wake you up but you don't suffer. The folks there are super nice and friendly. This is a revisit spot for sure.“
“Best Thai restaurant in America.Especially, fried rice was no difference that I tried in Thailand. One of the best thai restaurant i’ve visited. This is the most delicious Thai food I've had in the United States. It suited the Korean taste very well, and I especially liked the somtam. I highly recommend it to everyone who visits here. It was much more delicious than the food I ate in Thailand!“
“I’ve been eating at this Thai restaurant since I was a little girl and it still does not disappoint. I am usually not a fan of duck, but they have figured it out and it was magical! So happy to see them still doing well. The Tom Yum soup is also perfection. The atmosphere has always been a bit strange inside, tables are close together and it’s hard to have a private conversation. I saw LOTS of to go orders though.“
“If you love a simple Hainanese chicken rice with a warm bowl of soup do try this place ! We got 2 combos the combo A with poached chicken and fried chicken with rice & combo C which was grilled chicken and fried chicken with rice and a big bowl of chicken clear soup , both were good but I enjoyed the combo C better . They serve it with 2 sauces both delicious, if you like extra spicy then surely ask for chilli oil ? its spicyy be careful! Overall a great experience the food ambiance !Parking: Its in a huge plaza , right next to lotte market“
“Great food! Got the Crispy Basil Duck and it was so good. The flavor got better and better as the meal went on. I have tried crispy duck at other places and they're ok but this is why crispy duck is a thing. Great staff and owner gave great suggestions. I hear the Panang curry is awesome also so I will have to try that next time.“
“This is the pricier Thai place in the area. I would just get takeout next time due to strong smell from neighboring nail salon. Staff was friendly but one of Thier phones behind the counter from where we were sitting was ringing for 30 minutes which was distracting to my table.“
“This place is great and becoming more of a staple in my household for meals every few weeks. The food is fresh and excellent to taste. They have many choices on the menu and heat levels if you like it spicy. The staff is kind and informative on food choices and always friendly when visiting. The interior is small but cozy and warming. Very clean. This place must do well as everytime I order food for pick up there are always many orders and people in and out with food. An excellent choice if your in the area and the price is just right. Will continue to purchase from them as long as they keep up the high standards. Thanks“
“Dropped in after a massage next door. I was looking for a light meal. I ordered the ThomKa soup, with shrimp and the Kanom Jeab steamed dumplings. Both were delicious. The soup had a nice touch if spice. The dumplings came with a light dipping sauce. I'll be back“
“It was a regular day and Chinese food was the choice, but I don’t like too many places around me(dumfries). So we decided on MumMums. This would be our second visit. We came at happy hour also!! We ordered the green beans my favorite, and tried the veggie potstickers. The GB are delicious, the potstickers um weren’t all that. I ordered MumMums fried rice with shrimp and my partner ordered MumMums fried rice with chicken. Very delicious perusal! The service is great, yet we had a more laid back server this time. I hope you go and enjoy it. Oh yeah I had a drank! lol“
“This is the best Thai restaurant in the United States. I haven't found anything on the menu I don't like. My favorites are the pad kra pow with beef, Tom yum with soft tofu, shrimp cakes, and any of the curries. But nothing compares to the corn cakes. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. They also are great for carry out.“
“As a recent west coast transplant, I gotta say The foods here are I have to order two dishes just for myself .. .definitely will return (coming from Fairfax a good 30 mins drive) to try out different dishes from their menu. Not to mention, the staffs here are extremely friendly, make me feel like home here and always welcomed. Disclaimer, not sponsored by them lol. Just your local foodies' honest review“
“I was choosing between a few thai options in the area and I am glad I decided this one! I really enjoyed my pad thai and thai ice tea. I ordered online and the process was a breeze. Thai tea was made when I arrived so it didn't get watery. Pad thai had great flavor, good spice and big chicken pieces. The inside of the restaurant is very small, just a warning for bigger groups. For a tuesday night, it was pretty busy inside. I would definitely go back!“
“This place is amazing indeed. My son had a Tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag(garlic fried rice) and Itlog (egg), a well known Filipino breakfast, also Lumpia. I had Kare Kare (Peanut sauce stewed oxtail. OMG, it’s the most delicious Kare Kare I have ever tried. The oxtail just melted in my mouth, gourmet Kare Kare indeed. Presentation was awesome and customer service was excellent. It’s a hidden gem indeed. We will definitely be back for many more to try all their dishes. Though they have international cuisines , so happy that they embraced and also highlight their Filipino dishes. You will not disappoint with this restaurant. We finished our meal with Turon (Fried Banana) topped with Ice cream. Thank you for the heavenly meal. We loved it so much! We left with big smiles on our faces.“
“Good-sized portion of drunken noodles, as well as basil fried rice. Chicken satay and sauces were great, the additional spicy condiments also added flavor to the good food :) Staff were friendly and food arrived on time. Lovely time at the place.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free, egg-free options.Kid-friendliness: I like the teddy bear on their logo :)“
“What an amazing place this is! The atmosphere is welcoming the food is tasty and the Thai tea was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. So many different options to choose from but we definitely had to try the drunken noodle with shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. I'm sure that anything you choose would be divine. Parking is a little complicated because it's not a very big parking lot.“
“Went for a Valentines dinner and had a great meal. We ordered the rolling duck roti, tom yum soup, and the nua num tok (spicy steak salad...my fave!) for appetizers. They came out quickly and were all so good. We also ordered chicken pad thai and pork drunken noodles, which were both among the best we've ever had, and with huge portions. The service is attentive and fast considering there is really just one server and two other staff helping bring out the dishes.Prices are what you expect given inflation today, but we thought it was a good value for all the wonderful food we were served. The interior is well decorated considering the dining space must have originally been designed as an atrium restaurant for a 1980's hotel. Can't wait to go back!“
“First time experience. First impressions when you first walk in. I loved the decorations and the staff were very nice & welcoming. My S/O & I are always curious to try out different Thai restaurants around the DMV area. We really wanted to try their pad thai and prawn fried rice. We ended up trying different dishes. Their Thai tea was perfect.Parking: Parking is free on weekends“
“We went here for dinner on a weekend and the place was a bit busy. We tried the spicy basil fried rice, panang fried rice and basil tofu. All the dishes were more on the sweet side, had mild flavours with less seasoning. The portions were pretty good and service was quick. Overall, this is a decent spot for the price point.“
“The owner has turned a typical take out place into a cozy family restaurant with lovely Christmas decorations and actual heating (can't say how many restaurants still blow cold air onto your food in winter), felt warm and welcomed dining here. We ordered their lunch special, drunken noodle and basil fried rice with chicken, both were superb. Fresh ingredients, with the right amount of spicy, full of Thai flavors. We didn't have to wait long for the dishes either. The server was courteous and attentive. Will be back to try their other dishes~“
“I have tried pad Thai at every Thai restaurant in a 15 mile radius and I can proudly say that Smile Thai has the best. The noodles are never dry and are drenched in the perfect sauce that is not too sweet and not too sour. One thing that other restaurants struggle with is their noodles are dry, but I’ve never had dry noodles from Smile Thai. Another thing that puts me off with pad Thai is oily noodles, but smile Thai barely uses oil and it tastes amazing. The noodles to price ratio is amazing. You pay about $13-16 depending on the poultry of your choice. I think the price is great for the amount of pad Thai you get. I get so much food that sometimes I can’t even finish it! It’s nice to know that I am getting my money’s worth.Customer service is amazing! I always order my pad Thai without peanuts and sometimes when I forget to say no peanuts they still don’t put it in because they know me! The man and the woman that work at the counter are very nice and I have never had anything negative about my experience there. When I go to college, I always thing about coming back to have smile Thai because no other place compares.Dietary restrictions: More than welcome to accommodate for peanut allergies“
“I ordered online and it didn’t give me the option to set a time for pick up. Since I don’t live close, I called and asked for it to be ready in an hour, they explained the food had already been made and I explained my frustration since I really love sisters Thai and just didn’t want it to be cold. They were polite and agreed to make the food to be ready for my arrival time. Very much appreciate the customer centered service as well as the delicious food!“
“I recently dined at Hunan Village that left a lasting impression. The exquisite flavors of their dishes showcased a perfect balance of traditional authenticity and innovative twists. The staff's hospitality was truly remarkable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I entered, their attentiveness and genuine friendliness added to the overall dining experience. Each dish was a culinary delight, highlighting the skillful preparation and fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a memorable Chinese dining experience with exceptional food and outstanding service.“
“Beautiful restaurant - and one day I'll eat INSIDE! I've been picking up my meals so I haven't stayed to eat there. The staff is prompt in greeting me and the food comes out promptly as well. The only thing I would recommend is to not bag the cold salads with the hot meals. It wilted my lettuce and that wasn't very appetizing (though the salads are wonderful). So now I just separate the items as soon as I get back into my vehicle. I recommend the Pad Thai“
“okay - so I missed the happy hour by 6' and that was a costly few minutes - the cocktail (which was amazing) ended up costing more than the food... that said, dang... their food was awesome! My friend had the Crying Tiger and he didn't share it with anyone - he vacuumed it - it must have been great... I had the Pad Thai with Tofu. yup. They nailed it. Delicious.“
“A delicious gem! Haven't found a Thai place this good in the DMV area in years -- since Kanlaya closed in Chinatown. One recommendation for the restaurant. We went here (several weeks ago) initially mainly because we are vegan and the menu photos on Yelp were so clearly showing options to get dishes with no fish/oyster sauce. But your new menus don't even have those options printed on them, and there was a bit of a language barrier, so it wasn't all that easy to get the food vegan. Suggest re-adding that to the menu so that I can at least point at the option I want. But awesome place, and we'll be back.“
