“This was my first time trying Thai food, and honestly, I’m not usually a Thai food girl, but OCha definitely surprised me! I got the chicken drunken noodles with crispy chicken wontons, and I actually ate the whole plate 😂 The food was good, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more.

But that Strawberry Dubai Chocolate smoothie??? OMG. 🤤 It was SO good and looked exactly like the picture. I’ve never tried Dubai chocolate before, but I’m officially obsessed with that smoothie!

The service was also amazing. I originally ordered for pickup but decided to eat there instead, and they were so nice and accommodating. They even put my food on a plate and brought me water.

Overall, I’d give it a 4. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 is because Thai food isn’t usually my favorite, but this place definitely made me want to give it another chance. I’ll absolutely be back! ❤“

“My husband and I love Lil' Bowl. Tonight I decided to surprise my husband with a bento bowl which he has never had. They were so good. There was so much food, we had leftovers for tomorrow. Yum! I had the Pad Thai...very good. My husband had the chicken fried rice, and we both really enjoyed our Bento Boxes. We also really enjoyed the mango sticky rice for our dessert. If you like Thai and Japanese cuisine, you have to try Lil' Bowl. We highly recommend it.“

“We were a large group so we shared each other’s entree. The papaya salad and mango sticky rice were outstanding. The salad was fresh and had the perfect amount of heat. The sticky rice featured juicy sweet sliced mango and the rice delicious and not overly sweet.

Expected better larb. Wasn’t bad just ok. The pad Thai was also ok. Again not bad, have had better. Going to a new Thai restaurant I use Pad Thai as one of my baseline dishes. A Thai restaurant that can’t absolutely plate killer Pad Thai can’t earn five stars.

I really enjoyed the pork Masaman curry. It was flavorful and everyone remarked about it. The crispy chicken was also delicious.

We also shared beef curry that was generally liked. Pineapple rice with shrimp was ok, nothing special.

Plan to come back and try something else. Was expecting something more.“

“Nalak Thai has become one of our family’s favorite places to dine for both special occasions or just for a delicious dinner out. It’s a relatively new establishment, but it’s become a staple restaurant for our family as the food is consistently delicious and the service is always friendly and accommodating. The majority of Nalak’s dishes can be modified for spice level and to be vegetarian, and there are many options for adults and children alike. I am obsessed with the drunken noodles (extra spicy!) and Thai green curry, but their drink menu also has me constantly coming back for more. If you are a matcha fan, the ceremonial matcha drink list will guarantee a return visit! Highly recommend Nalak Thai as the best Thai food in Northern Virginia!“

“I've ordered from this restaurant a couple of times now and the Green Curry and Pad Thai are phenomenal. However, I ventured out of that standard order this past time and decided to get the Drunken Noodles as well. They were just plain noodles with oil, and no sauce. Hands down the worst that I have had and that is the reason I can only give 4 stars instead of 5. I'm not sure if the cook forgot the sauce or if this was standard for them, but steer clear of the Drunken Noodles. Everything else I've had has been fantastic though!“

They offered to replace it with a different dish or asked if it would be okay to wait for 30 mins while they had fried rice ready. We decided to wait and glad that we did because that basil fried rice with chicken was delicious. We also had kra pow gai and that was very flavorful as well. Can’t wait to try more dishes. “AMAZING! I travelled to the area for an exam and ordered take out from here. Food was perfect. GET THE CRAB RANGOONS! Soooo good and had a buy one get one free so got two! Are all of it immediately lol. Ordered the veggie tofu pad Thai which was extremely generous in portion like 3-4 people could honestly share it! My husbands beef teriyaki was phenomenal and I don’t even like beef! The mango sticky rice was addictive and next time I will order like 3! “What’s not too love at Thai Basil. Aside from the food, they are always busy but will always make room for my family for birthdays etc... we are a large family usually 20-30 people. They know us well. You can take Thai cooking classes there too!“
