“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?”

The overall quality of the food was commendable, and the Agedashi tofu particularly stood out as a highlight with its delightful contrast of textures and well-balanced sauce. While the seafood pho was generously portioned and featured a flavorful broth, the seafood itself seemed overcooked and lacked freshness, and the noodles were slightly overdone. The hot plate of chicken and beef was tasty and satisfying, accompanied by well-prepared fried rice. The service and ambiance both contributed positively to the dining experience.”

Felt very cozy.Workers are nice and attentive enough, and the food came out quickly.FOOD:~Spicy Marinated Crab (4/5): Nice kick and great flavor~Soy Marinated Crab (4/5): So much umami and lots of crab meat~Nakji Bokkeum (4/5): Comes with a ton of noodles and marinade was yummyNOTES:~For the raw crabs, only knock is that the shells were extra hard/not softened, so the crab was hard to squeeze the meat out of like we have at other places.~The price point here is a little high, but not TOO terrible for the portion size you get. Price for Nakji Bokkeum was probably the most un-even imo.Overall, really liked this place and hit the raw marinated crab craving!”

“Wanted to leave a review to counter all the whiny reviews from everyone complaining about this place. This location is fantastic and the pizza (and breadstick nuggets) are delicious! Have ordered here a handful of times over the past few years and have never had any issues at all. The order is ready quickly, always warm, tastes great and the service is quick and friendly. It’s exactly what you would expect from a great dominos. I honestly think the reviews complaining are probably an issue with entitled, unreasonable customers.”

“I came here with some friends for dinner and had a great time. This is definitely one of the best authentic Korean restaurants in the area. At the time that we visited, there were a lot of people there. Be ready to wait a few minutes during the dinner rush and stay because the food is so worth it.

We ordered the homemade kalguksoo noodles with broth (100% I’ll be back to try the spicy version too), cheese donkatsu (crispy and good blend of cheese, the macaroni salad was perfect, salad and rice a great balance), stir fry octopus (newer item that was cooked perfectly, very tender and delicious), and seafood soondubu (spicy tofu soup with a unique broth different from the other soondubu restaurants in the area). This was definitely more than enough for four people to share. I really enjoyed each entrée that we ordered. They have several different signature dishes, including bossam, and also new items not yet listed on the menu. I’ll be back to try more food here! We were so excited about the food that we didn’t have a chance to take pictures of everything.

Parking was easy and free. Great service and kind staff who spoke to us in Korean and English.”

“Ordered the fish head soup, number E1 on the menu. The fish was perfectly cooked and tender, fall off the bone. As were the vegetables. And the broth was delicious if you love curry. Will definitely be back as a regular.”

“It was a nice Afghan restaurant with delicious food and cousins. I loved the food especially the Qabele Palav.

The staff was great, the Afghan tea after dinner was wonderful with pastries. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try Afghanistan food.

“We loved loved LOVED the macarons from Melody's Macarons!! We were looking for the perfect pastries to give as a thank you/christmas gift at our favorite hot pot place and we came across Melody's Macarons on Google. We called them up and within 15 minutes we were at the owner's front door placing our order. 5 minutes later, she came out with a bunch of beautifully decorated and wrapped macarons! My daughter could not stop gushing about how we need to bring macarons to every function from now on!

Pulled it out and it was leaking through the paper bag and then it fell through the bag and lid was not in all the way. I had a handle on it but it was soooooo hot then spilled all over my leg and chair. It burned me!!!!!!!!! Also, this place only takes cash. Glad I had cash on me which I rarely do. I should not be obligated to use an ATM. Need to offer more options to pay.”

“Great food, was able to customize the meal for my pickier kids. I added carrots to my Ramen and took out the mushrooms. Loved that I could customize so much of it! Kids loved the boba tea and the juice where you could add the boba balls to it. You could also pick how much sugar you wanted added!”

Their garlic focaccia bread is a must-try—it's perfectly baked with a soft, airy texture inside and a crispy crust outside, all infused with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. “I have never had as good "cheese" foam experience as they do on this boba. I think the marketing could do a better job explaining what it is. It's basically like whipped maacarpone cheese blended with your normal boba tea flavor variety. We usually get mango smoothie with cheese or taro smoothie with cheese. It's light and foamy and such a delicious surprise.”

A little pricey but when you consider the cost of everything and how much is going into the drinks, it’s no different than anything else. We appreciated the kind tea makers confirming that we wanted each of the ingredients and really wanted to ensure they got our drinks correct. “This one of my go-to places in Centerville. Today, Kimbop has changed a bit. Carrots were uncooked, normally they were stir-fried. Hope it's fixed next time.

It tastes better to make kimbap with stir-fried carrots, but I don't know if it was a mistake, but I was a little disappointed that the carrots in today's kimbap were not cooked at all. Still, I gave it 5 stars because it's a place I go to often.”

“One of the most efficient and quick restaurants I have ever seen with an almost overwhelmingly large menu. It’s also cheap to boot. I really like their jjajangmyeon which is always a good choice. Today I got their pork fried rice with jjajang sauce for the first time to vary it up. It was definitely good but I think the noodles are better. My SO got the Szechuan Seafood Jjangmyeon which tasted pretty good. It’s got a bit of a kick but not that spicy. I also really like their choice of banchan because they’re some of my favorite ones.”

“This is THE place for seolongtang in NoVa. They offer three different types, and they are all so very good.
However, their radish kimchi 깍두기 imo is the main star. It's so damn good and luckily you can purchase them separately to take them home. They are very generous with their 깍두기 as we get them refilled at least three times on a visit.
