“Tried bombay bites for the first time. Food was very good and looked fresh to me. The price was very reasonable at this current inflated market and compared to other restaurants. This desi restaurant deserves more promotion across all DMV areas. I would surely recommend to anyone.“
“It’s kinda hidden in the shopping complex but worth finding!!!! Everything was 5 star, my only tiff with atmosphere would be it’s kinda low lighting. However the food, service and cleanliness of the restaurant was great!!!! We sought this place out as it had a 3.8 star but yet was voted as a BEST OF just a year ago. It did not disappoint at all!!!! They host a lunch Buffett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Thursday they offer platters, Vegetarian or with Meat. With tip you are looking at around $17-$20 per person. They served a nice little dessert with the meal. Flavors were GREAT in all the food that we were served!!!!“
“I would recommend takeout. Flavors were good. Pretty greasy, but that's what I ordered. The place was kind of unappealing - water on the floor, looks like they are part way through converting from whatever it used to be, wobbly tables.“
“The interior is very cool, sever was courteous. Service is quick. When it comes to the food itself: I'm on the fence. We ordered several appetizers and main dishes; we liked some and not others. Because it's an Indian Mexican fusion place, the Indian flavors over power any Mexican ones. So, it's up to the customer's taste.“
“Trendy and modern Indian restaurant with gourmet cuisine. Delicious food, creative cocktails, great and well skilled bartender. Traditional and molecular gastronomy nouveau. Anurag was a great server. Good for parties and couples. Free parking. Totally worth it. My girlfriend and I went for dinner. Great modern vibes.“
“If you walk into a famous restaurant, you tend to like the food anyway! If you walk into a restautant that is not at a very upmarket location, you expect it to be an average restaurant too. But, this restaurant is a hidden gem! At the first look at the menu, it appears that items have been given fancy names to fetch higher prices. But when you eat the food, you will find that it is a class apart! You get a dining experience. The staff is courteous, and friendly. The tables are far apart enough to give you privacy. They have a good selection of non-veg items (but I am a vegatarian). Among vegetarian items, you don't find the usual permutations of limited items - the dishes are unique! The dishes are served just at the right temparature. The gravey is so well made that it tastes homegenous- you can't tell spices separately. The serving size is enough for one person. We tried a couple of paneer dishes - they use homemade paneer, and it just melts in the mouth!Just like other places where it is hard to find entrees without onion-garlic, the chef made Paneer butter-masala for me. Because this is what I usually get wherever I go, I can say that it was the best I have eaten anywhere! The food is worth every dollar you spend. I think they will become the best restaurant in the subarban DC.Vegetarian options: There are a few Panner items, dal fry but not usual permuatations of paneer, gobi, matar, and aloo! Very well made and served.“
“Vinod made our first visit pretty exceptional. He recommended dishes based on our preferences & we absolutely loved our food.Only con, it would be nice to see the front having some additional help. The tables weren’t clean & I only saw one guy bringing out the food, taking orders & running back to the kitchen to help out!“
“A BIRYANI PARADISE WITH A GREAT WELCOMING TOUCH.This place is a gem for anyone looking to indulge in some of the best biryanis. They also do catering events where we had Chicken Keema Biryani, Goat dum biryani, and chicken lollipops. For vegetarians, they even had Jackfruit Biryani, Paneer Biryani. The warmth and hospitality of the owner and his personal engagement with guests reflects a commitment to excellence that is truly commendable. It is located inside Lotte Plaza Market.Must try: Goat dum biryani, chicken lollipops“
“Bollywood themed Indian snacking place on Elden street. You will find plenty of parking outside and the place is also friendly for wheelchair or stroller entrance. The staff is very friendly and they serve you with smile. They are kids friendly too. They have self service where they call your bill token number and you have to collect your food from counter. The whole place has a 90s Bollywood theme. Every table top is laminated with 90s Bollywood movie posters. You will find more of the North Indian snacks here. We tried masala chai which was tasty full of cardamom taste with bread pakoda. The bread pakoda looked like they have refried it but it tasted as exactly as Indian food stalls sell. We also tried their dabheli but can feel it was so so not that tasty. It only has masala potatoes in it no crunch. The chutney’s server was also so watery. So would not suggest to try their dabheli but you can try other things. There chole bhature looks amazing so probably we will try it next time. They have small juice center too inside. You can get fresh fruit juices here and tasty tasty falooda also and if you are bored go try their game room. Check it out soon“
“We picked up food here and boy did it delight! Flavorful, large portions and well packed to bring home and eat hot. The vegetarian options (samosas and vegetables in Indian gravy) did not disappoint. Butter chicken was melt in your mouth tender and juicy.“
“The food was high quality and tasted amazing. The thing that set my experience apart was the customer service. There was a mistake with one of our orders that caused it to take longer than usual. The manager came over to explain and apologize and gave us an order of another dish to eat while we waited. We will be coming back many more times! The value for the quantity and quality of the food was also very good. Highly recommend checking this place out!“
“Food is amazing!!! Prices are extremely reasonable.I wish they would play Indian music instead of elevator style music inside, but other than that… this restaurant is fantastic! They have spicy level options with each meal, a lot of Gluten free options (Like the Uttapam - soooooo good). We’re very happy to have found this spot and plan on coming back very often for dine in and takeout.“
“Words cannot express how happy we are that we discovered this hidden gem when we were simply looking on impulse for an Indian restaurant after a long day. The name seemed familiar from one we had eaten at in Falls Church that was a favorite of ours. And we were pleasantly surprised that they are owned by the same people. The staff here were just as courteous, helpful and efficient making sure our drinks stay full, the plates were cleared away and coming to check on how everything was. The whole experience from the presentation of the food, the portions, the quality of the ingredients, how well it was seasoned and cooked and the pricing for what you get which is a lot was right on mark in every way. We could taste the effort and love that goes into their cooking and how much they take pride in what they do. I think the food is just a bit better seasoned than their other location too. Everything tasted amazing and had our taste buds singing. We could not have asked for a better experience both times we were there for lunch and dinner and we feel most welcomed when we are there. They are wonderful proof that good food traverses boundaries and cultures amd brings people together as also witnessed by the other happy diners there of various ethnicities. Definitely on our list of places to go to and another local business we plan to support very often.Vegetarian options: I personally enjoyed the vegetable pakora, plain saag and chana masala. The only thing that could be better would be a mixed vegetarian option on their main menu either as a entree or appetizer so I could explore more vegetarian dishes before committing to just one.Dietary restrictions: I enjoyed the facts that they were gluten free, nut free and dairy free options as there are times I'm unable to consume these if I'm having digestive issues.Parking: There are quite a few food places as well as a smaller Walmart so parking can be a little challenging though we had no problems finding spots.“
“I stopped for office lunch with colleagues. Hands down the best Pizza place in the area. Food quality and taste top notch. One of the very few Pizza places with lot of dine in space and very good vibe. Service was pretty good and staff were pretty accommodative. I will definitely be back to try more pizza flavors.“
“Amazing Indian food. The people working here are really amazing. They are always on time. I drive a little far just to get my Indian food from this place rather than other places that are closer. I recommend this place highly. I have tried a lot of food in here and every single one has been really good!Vegetarian options: Veggie biryani“
“The food was amazing. We went as a large group and the service was fast. One suggestion is to improve the cleanliness of the restaurant. I saw a bug crawling on the table.Food - We ordered veg snack platter, kadhai paneer, bhindi masala, bread basket. Everything was perfect. The piping hot garlic naan was delicious.“
“This was my first time visiting this location (in person). I feel like I may have ordered from them via Uber Eats before (I cannot confirm nor deny this..). It almost next door to Lotte, so figured why not check it out. Staff was very friendly/accommodating.They have SO MANY preparations/variations of Biryani. I was curious about most of them, but unfortunately, there weren't any pictures available online or on the menus. I've never had (or heard of) jackfruit biryani, but we will definitely try it next time, Malabar style. We decided to play it safe and get the Malabar veg biryani, medium spicy. It was tasty, no weird veggies in it.I wish they would add pictures of the different variations or provide details of each preparation on the menu or online.“
“Inside of the Indian Bazar, the staff is really nice, they gently introduce you thousands of choices on the menu, I like to order Boneless Chicken and Goat Biryani. You can seat on the dining area to eat, and here’s also have other Indian food and desserts that you can buy. One thing need to remember is they do not open on Monday.“
“We ate the Rajasthani Thali (on Friday) and it was amazing. The daal baati was one of the best I've eaten in my life (including in India). The gatta subzi and rasmalai were also really good. Definitely recommend this place for soul fulfilling Indian food. Our only complaint was the service, which can be improved so that customers are not left waiting.“
“Our family stumbled upon this restaurant while walking to the clay cafe near-by. This family-business is very kind and the food is SO yummy that we went back again today for lunch and ordered two combo curries which includes naan and rice. We left with full bellies and happy kids:)“
“The most authentic it gets. The Nepali dumplings were the star of the show. Try the pepper chicken too, it's absolutely delicious. The owners were so kind and the food was FRESH. Quite literally an amazing food experience. The samosas were so flavorful and I SWEAR someone the best we've ever had.“
“Really enjoyed our dinner at Rangoli in Manassas. My husband and I were regulars at the South Riding location. Glad to know that the taste and service are still top notch. Definitely worth the trip. Our order:Paneer MakhaniYellow Dal TarkaRoti“
“My family ate here today and the food and service were wonderful. We had several of the grilled entree combos, keema naan, and a paratha roll. The tortilla the roll was on was a perfect consistency and buttery taste. While my kids did not care for the keema naan, I absolutely loved it. Food quality and quantity of the grilled meals was excellent.“
“This place is amazing indeed. My son had a Tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag(garlic fried rice) and Itlog (egg), a well known Filipino breakfast, also Lumpia. I had Kare Kare (Peanut sauce stewed oxtail. OMG, it’s the most delicious Kare Kare I have ever tried. The oxtail just melted in my mouth, gourmet Kare Kare indeed. Presentation was awesome and customer service was excellent. It’s a hidden gem indeed. We will definitely be back for many more to try all their dishes. Though they have international cuisines , so happy that they embraced and also highlight their Filipino dishes. You will not disappoint with this restaurant. We finished our meal with Turon (Fried Banana) topped with Ice cream. Thank you for the heavenly meal. We loved it so much! We left with big smiles on our faces.“
“I don't know what people expect when they go to a casual snacks place like this. My 4 star is based on two things, one is very very good customer service and really nice and helpful folks. And the second thing is their snacks, I really like their Indian snacks items. Specially chicken puff and onion samosa, and their chai, I could literally have them every evening as snacks. I have also tried their chicken burger, pretty good and has a desi flavor to it. Overall, a good option for desi snacks and quick bites and really good chai.“
“Food is amazing, we've been several times and ordered different things each visit. The spice levels are exactly what you order. The Lamb Vindaloo spicy is not too spicy like some places, it's edible spicy. The butter chicken is smooth and delicious. The Chicken Korma was whole chicken thighs. It's a very relaxing restaurant to just hang out and talk with great food in front of you.“
“This place is really good. I live in Newport News (NN) and if I have to order Indian (when I don't feel like cooking) this is the place. Some Indian friends visited NN and they said this was in the top 5 Indian food they had in East Coast US in the last 4-5 years.“
“This place his a hidden treasure for all Desi's and few Anglo's who love paan. Absolutely the freshest leaves and generous fillings. Made to order. I will bet you that you cannot just eat one and walk away. And I learned today that they have another kiosk in the Chantilly Lotte. Take a drive out and see Shezad in Ashburn or Ali in Chantilly. Awesome product and always fresh and clean.“
“Wow! This dosa restro is a gem! The dosas here are out of this world—crispy, flavorful, and filled to perfection. Whether you're into traditional masala dosas or adventurous with their specialty fillings, they've got you covered. The staff is super friendly and the service is top-notch. Don't miss out on this spot if you're craving some authentic South Indian goodness!“
“This place is the best kabobs, rice, and chickpeas I have ever had!!! Want a juicy chicken kabob that makes your mouth water just looking at it or a koobideh kabob that fulfills your beef needs, look no further. If you have ever been Ravi Kabob this place is better by far. The staff are very friendly and serves you like your guest in their home. And nothing is better ambiance than seeing Arabic verses of the Quran.“
“Had the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and the bread basket) featured a generous portion of 3 different kinds of bread). We sat in the smaller restaurant section up front but could see into a huge event area where they had a stage and bar and seating for over 100+. The food was piping hot and excellent! The bread was also hot and fresh The food had a nice low-key spice to it that I loved, some restaurants are catering to a blander pallet but this had a nice flavor without going overboard. I’ll be back to try one of the lunch specials. My hubby and I give it two thumbs up!Parking: In a strip mall with plenty of free parking out front“
“We were visiting the air and space museum. While looking for dinner options we came across this place and decided to check it out. I am glad we did. The food was excellent. We tried the veg platter. They provided multiple options for sabji. Everything was fresh and no additives. The service was great and people were very hospitable. We also purchased some packaged snacks made by them. Few healthy options as well. Overall very impressed by this place. We will visit again for sure..“
“I don’t know what the other reviews are saying but I’ve been coming to this restaurant for almost ten years with my family Alhamdulillah and although it may seem like a little bit old and not the grandest, that’s the reality of delicious desi restaurants. The place might not be the best but the food is delicious. Their buffet is unmatched in this area and I would highly recommend anyone stopping by this area or in this area to try delicious Pakistani food at this restaurant.“
“Theere was not a single problem with the food. The atmosphere was a but boring considering there is no music as well as boring decor except for one corner of the restaurant. Apart from that the food was perfect. Took a little too long to make but it came fresh and perfectly seasoned as well as very flavorful. Every bite is a punch in the face. The spice was perfect. Enough to make u break a sweat but not enough to ruin the meal for you. Would absolutely recommend the goat byriani and chicken Karahi as well as the butter chicken.“
“This is a fantastic restaurant. It’s sort of a hole in the wall, but the kind of hole in the wall that Anthony Bourdain would’ve visited if he were still alive. The food is great and authentic. People in the review section will say that the seating is too crowded and it’s dirty, but it’s precisely these things that make me feel like I’m in India again (I’m an American who lived in Delhi as a kid). This is the closest I feel to being in India outside of Jackson Heights. This restaurant also catered my wedding and everyone loved it.“
“Exquisite Hyderabadi CuisineWe recently dined at Pista House and were delighted by the authentic Hyderabadi flavors. Both the non-veg and veg dishes were delicious, showcasing true Hyderabadi cuisine. The desserts, especially the qubani ka meeth, stood out for their great taste without added food coloring.Service was impeccable, with staff displaying patience and efficiency, particularly Sohail. We appreciated the minimal wastage of food, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to sustainability.Overall, our dining experience was exceptional.Highly recommended!“
“A good place to have some Malaysian food in Centreville, Virginia. The service was good and the food was great. No regrets on either point.Of course like any other Malaysian restaurant, we had to order Roti Canai from the appetizer menu and it was amazing. My son just loved the hot, fresh, flaky roti that he asked to order more. We also ordered Chicken Satay which was nice, juicy and flavorful. For the main course, we ordered Malaysian style fried rice which is a combination of chicken, shrimp and tofu as well and comes with pan fried egg on top. Definitely worth it. We also ordered Beef Rendang and Nyonya curry fish fillet. Fish was good but the curry was a little on the saltier and sour side. Believe it might have been tamarind or something similar to give that sour taste. Beef Rendang definitely was on the top with Roti Canai. Tender pieces of beef in a spicy curry. A must try.The prices were reasonable not extravagant like we see nowadays and the quantity was good for the price.Anyone looking for a Malaysian restaurant which is not too fancy, not expensive but has good service and good food, check this one out.Parking: Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.Kid-friendliness: There were families with the kids and the kids seem to be enjoying their time.My kids are a little older but they enjoyed the food especially Roti Canai.“
