Chennai Express Restaurant is a popular South Indian eatery known for its exceptional Andhra Kozhi Vepudu appetizer. The restaurant offers generous portions of authentic South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including delectable biryanis, curries, and mango lassis. While not a fine dining establishment, Chennai Express has been praised for its service and food quality, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a taste of the region.
Recent customer reviews highlight the restaurant's strengths and areas for improvement. Customers have enjoyed the authentic flavors of the Set Dosa with Vadai curry and the refreshing Mango Lassi and buttermilk drinks. However, some have expressed concerns about the use of plastic tableware and the need for more sustainable practices. Additionally, while the food has shown promise, the dining experience has been inconsistent, with some customers reporting issues with service, ambiance, and cleanliness, particularly in the restrooms. The management has been responsive, and the service has improved, but there is still room for enhancement to provide a more enjoyable and consistent experience for all guests.
