“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

“I've been coming here the past year and a half, and every single time it's consistently fantastic. Their katsu is the best in the DMV, and comparable to what I've had in Japan when I was there last year (personally recommend the fish katsu, and the chicken katsu). The service is always friendly, and the owner often comes out to check on you personally. I almost don't want this place to get too popular so that I always have an open table ready for me, but they really deserve to be a top spot in this area.“

“I have been dined in at this particular branch for a year and the quality of both foods and services are remain the same and even better. The quality of meats are top nodge. I wish mu stomach os bigger so I can eat more. I love the way the our servers alway very handy and helpful as sometime we don't know how to deal with foods. “Our Monday night dinner group has come back here multiple times. The smell is wonderful immediately when you walk in. The host and all staff there are super friendly and always fun to chat with. Our waiter had our whole table laughing every time we engaged with him. Everyone's orders were perfectly cooked, nice sized portions and came out very quickly. I personally love the Malaysian Iced Coffee, Roti Canai and Chicken Satay. Our group had noodle dishes, beef, lamb, seafood....all was wonderful. The flavors are vivid and bright, delicious and clearly comfort food. I promise you, you'll enjoy your trip here. Great food for everyone. “I’ve been coming here for years, it’s my favorite pho spot out of everyone in the area i’ve tried. Out of the many years coming to this location i have never once had a single issue with the food or staff. The broth is amazing and so flavorful always quiet not packed. And the staff is amazing i love coming here when i want a quick delicious bowl and will be continuing to come here for the foreseeable future. Anyone reading this I advise your give the spot a try.“

“The reviews for this place were so good that I got the salmon poke bowl. I usually don't like poke bowels, but I trust the people's reviews. They gave me the meal in less than 10m, I wanna say closer to 5m. The service was friendly and kind. This was around 3pm, so while everything was quiet. I was impressed they got my meal out so fast, 3pm is generally a lull-in-the-day for restaurants.

I inhaled everything. The miso on the side, and every speck of rice given to me (pictured). Do you know how good food has to be to eat every grain of rice with chopsticks? The sauce was so good, I thought about having a piece of bread to swipe against the bottom to really clean out the bowl. I had a religious experience inhaling everything. The salmon melted in my mouth, the sauce was excellent. They added just enough spice to contribute to the sauce flavor.

Anyways the poke bowl had some raw onions, zucchini(?), and avocado. I wish there was more rice, but that's just particular to me, most people will find the rice/meat ratio perfect. I ate somewhat awkwardly next to the owners/workers in the food court, but I hope it was gratifying for them to see me eat everything so fast.

Take this review with a grain of salt, as I was starving at the time, but 10/10 would come again. This restaurant is an unexpected gem inside of lotte.“

“We visited for the first time yesterday and ordered the spicy braised pollock and spicy stir-fried squid. Everything was absolutely delicious!
The braised pollock came in a very generous portion, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The squid was exceptionally tender. The homemade tofu soup was warm, comforting, and full of rich, savory flavor. All of the side dishes were also fresh, clean-tasting, and beautifully prepared—it truly felt like enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal.

The beef bulgogi is incredibly savory and tender, and the takoyaki is the perfect crispy bite to start with. But the real star of the show is the spicy Lab No. 1 sushi, it’s my absolute favorite roll and delivers the perfect amount of heat. It is hard to find good Korean restaurant where main and side dishes are good, but this is the one. I eat here many times when I am craving for authentic Korean foods.all the servers are kind and know what they are doing.
This is Korean BBQ place with other Korean dishes, it is pricy like other BBQ places, but I think it is worth my money.
Only thing I do not like is, when you are there at a peak time, you have to wait. Also it can be very loud like typical Korean BBQ just like in Korea with people drinking alcohols but no biggie.“

“If you’re unfamiliar with soondae, I recommend looking it up first so you know what to expect. It has a distinct style and texture that may not be for everyone. However, if you’re already a soondae fan, this place is amazing. The food has great flavor, the menu offers plenty of variety, and I would definitely recommend it.

For first-time visitors, there are also more familiar options, including pork cutlet, udon, and other traditional Korean dishes. I suggest going with someone who already enjoys soondae so you can try a little for yourself before ordering a full dish.
