“Walking into the Lotte food court, I could immediately smell the katsu cooking at Hikari Don Katsu--and it was impossible not to follow the scent. I'm a huge fan of both katsu and curry, so after hearing this spot does both well, I had to give it a try.

The katsu tasted comforting and homemade, like someone put real care into every bite. It was crispy, juicy, and especially good with the sauce, which had a subtle sweetness and buttery richness without being too heavy.

The curry leaned more Korean-style than Japanese-style to me, but honestly, it was so good. It had a nice spicy kick, lots of flavor, and was filling enough that I could happily eat a whole bowl of the curry by itself.
Overall, I was really impressed with Hikari Don Katsu. Great katsu, great curry, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to when I'm craving something warm and satisfying.“

“My family and I stopped by while traveling thru town. We ordered Bulgogi and Dak Kalgooksoo. Their Banchan were flavorful with the right balance of spice and heat. Entrée portions are generous. Our server was helpful and very nice. We were pretty happy to find this restaurant.“

“Came here with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. The kimchi is hands down the best I’ve had in the area — fresh, perfectly spicy, and not overpowering. I had the beef tofu stew, which was delicious with just the right level of heat. We also split the pork appetizer three ways, and it was a generous portion — more than enough as a side. On top of that, the food came out in about 5 minutes and still tasted fresh. Quick service and great food — we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!“

“The food here is SO good. I typically don’t like manduguk but it was sooooooo delicious here. The broth had a lot of flavor and it was a generous portion. When we first came in, they said they ran out of soup, but they checked the kitchen, and they ended up having enough for the 3 of us. I suggest going here earlier for dinner in case they run out of soup broth! We came around 7 PM. Definitely worth visiting.“

We had a wonderful evening. I have always enjoyed the salad and honestly that seems to be where all the flavor is. Everything else seems to taste the same. I had the lasagna classic and it was very bland. My main complaint is that it is always too loud and crowded. I guess this is probably why I don’t visit often. I did the AYCE option and I did just that..spicy garlic edamame was good, TNT roll delicious, Butter Garlic shrimp was my absolute favorite and ordered 2 helpings. I would have eaten more but belly said stop. I was a Sushi Masa fan before eating here, but now? I have a new place.

I visit this chain few times a week all over norther VA, this place was bad…every table was dirty and greasy, filthy bathroom..it was horrible. I felt like getting up and leaving right away. I told one of the employees that tables need to be wiped and he acknowledged the issue. Ten minutes later I saw one of employees running around spraying tables barely wiping them dry. I had to get up and finish the job myself. Panera Bread, this is not up to your standards! Very disappointing. Will avoid this location at all cost.

I'm glad the other restaurant was closed, because this place legit has the best tacos and rice I've had yet! They serve a variety of Latin American food, not just Colombian, and everything looks good. The tacos are totally overloaded with meat and the sauces that come with the tacos are ??. The lady who took my order was also really trying to encourage me to get rice, and since I forgot how to say French fries en Español, I went with the rice. GET THE RICE!!!
