Food delivery was inconsistent but, when received, was very good. Our waiter was excellent and was not at fault for the problem with delivery to our table. Very busy which may have contributed to problem. Will definitely go back as the entrees were all excellent.
We have yet to have had a bad meal here. Today, it was excellent. The grilled rockfish on polenta, with greens and sun-dried tomato salad was delicious. The rockfish was complemented with a tasty green sauce; even the polenta was tasty, and I usually don't like polenta. We started with fried oysters on a chop salad. They were done perfectly. A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point.
