“This is the best gong cha. Their Thai tea latte is the best Thai tea around! Love that they have oat milk which a lot of gong Chas don’t. Only thing is I wish they opened on Sundays and Mondays and before 12pm on days they do open. It is one of the more expensive options for boba but it’s SO good“

A little pricey but when you consider the cost of everything and how much is going into the drinks, it’s no different than anything else. “I have never had as good "cheese" foam experience as they do on this boba. I think the marketing could do a better job explaining what it is. It's basically like whipped maacarpone cheese blended with your normal boba tea flavor variety. We usually get mango smoothie with cheese or taro smoothie with cheese. It's light and foamy and such a delicious surprise.“

“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“20240701 This place is interesting. The ordering station required me to log in, and I don't have an account, nor do I want one. The young lady at the counter was helpful and nice. She took my order. I got the red bean latte with 50% sugar and soymilk and red bean pancakes. The latte was perfect, and I wish the red bean pancakes were sweet. They have a noodle making machine! I have never seen one. I need to check it out next time. The cup that the latte comes in is pretty thick for disposable cup. It has a cute monkey on it. Unfortunately, I couldn't completely remove the plastic lid that was melted on. I tossed the cup.“

“My 4-month-old and I absolutely love this place. The ambiance, environment, and design are wonderfully spacious and kid-friendly. The top-notch food and drinks, especially the fresh sugar cane juice, are my personal favorites. My little one would probably agree if he could express it (maybe in a year). Overall, I'd rate this place 9.5/10. The only thing missing is an entertainment center or a selfie/promo spot for young adults, but they more than make up for it with their incredible drink.“

“Highly recommend the mango - it is extremely refreshing! Customer service is fantastic. My friend and I were first time customers and the gentlemen was very patient. He answered all of our questions on what has dairy and if substitutes are possible - he was more than accommodating. He even have us samples to try! They're located next door to H Mart and plenty of parking. The little pastries were delicious and super hot right out the maker. The tapioca pearls were also hot in the cup so I know they make fresh ones every day. There's seating on the inside and fresh fruit displayed in the front. “100% recommended. Came here one hour before they closed because my friend wanted to try the Blended Milo, since no place seems to have the exact one in Vietnam. I got myself the egg cream milk tea. It turned out that they both tasted EXACTLY the same as the type of boba we had in Vietnam. We’ve been coming back every single week ever since then. “Favorite bubble tea place in the area. And I’ve been to almost all of them because I’m a bubble tea addict. I usually get the qq happy family, which has all my favorite toppings. Sometimes the wait is long, but that’s because a lot of other people like it, too!“

“This restaurant plus their other location in sterling have the best bun bo hue that I know of in Virginia. Great value - they give you lots of meat for a reasonable price. They also have pork blood and pork hock in the dish. The only downside to this location is that their hours are a bit inconvenient - they close pretty early on saturday and are closed on sunday.“

“This is my first time visiting Donutchew. I was drawn to it being that I'm a donut fiend. I've had freshly made, delicious mochi donuts before, so this definitely didn't compare. However, I love the decoration, the customer service and the extensive menu, which is the reason for the 4 stars.

I originally stopped by to eye the menu and plan my post-lunch coffee-time dessert. I let the barista know that I'll be returning but will order something simple. She suggested the cortado and I said yes immediately, and asked for iced. It was perfectly strong and not watered down. Fast forward a few hours, I returned as promised and she remembered me.

We decided to order 2 mochi donuts and a few drinks:

-chocolate and cinnamon/sugar donuts
-red velvet latte
-hazelnut latte
-regular latte

One thing to note is that she couldn't really describe the drinks. For example, I asked her if the red velvet latte tastes like chocolate or just sugary (since it's basically red-dyed chocolate) and she had no idea. I asked her what are the top drinks (besides what was shown on the board) and she couldn't answer that. But she was friendly.

The donuts tasted a little stale and the chocolate frosting was definitely a little too hard. The cinnamon toast crunch was a cute touch to the donut, but again was stale. I wasn't a fan of the red velvet latte, it was pure sugar and aside from the intense pink color didn't taste the way I expected a red velvet cake to taste (most likely because the cream cheese is important to the flavor).

The decoration and swag for purchase are all show-stoppers, perfect for photo ops or even social media. They have a cute little photo booth inside as well. There is plenty of seating available.

I can't say that I'd return as I'm not a big mall person and wasn't too terribly impressed with the donuts.“

“They've got a great quality of service. I've been here multiple times, and they offer complimentary teas at the front of the store. However, if there was a suggestion that I would offer, it would be to maybe change the flavors more often, and use it to promote the newest or seasonal flavors, so people get a taste of how the seasonal flavors will go. However, the employees are really nice and friendly, offering customized suggestions and allowing you to smell the flavors.I had the boba from here once, and it was ok. It felt a bit watered down, and it would be nice if it had some milk and sweetness, but honestly felt like I was drinking boba water. I wouldn't recommend the boba, but this store definitely has a great selection of teas.“

“I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“
