“This place has a great selection of boba drinks. So far I’ve tried only two though: matcha milk tea ( my go-to drink) and ube coconut. The matcha is the best in town IMO! It’s very easy to adjust it to your strength and sweetness. Absolutely love it!! But you GOT to try the ube coconut!!!! My new absolute favorite!!! It’s THE BOMB!!! I have my own unique drink order Songbo Mountain Tea, no sugar, ice-free, with triple green tea jelly and honestly, only the manager and one other staff member consistently make it exactly right. “This spot is one of the few Vietnamese street snack shops in the DMV area that’s truly owned and operated by Vietnamese staff. I stopped by over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of authentic street snacks. I ordered the fried rice cake, and it was delicious—very close to what I remember having in Vietnam years ago.

I had already grabbed a drink before arriving, so I didn’t try their milk tea this time, but it’s definitely on my list for the next visit. The customer service was excellent as everyone I interacted with, especially Kristina, was friendly and welcoming. While the exterior is simple, the inside is bright, clean, and nicely decorated.

I also appreciated their visible support for military personnel, which I don’t often see at Asian restaurants in the U.S. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes and their milk tea.“

“For starters, the shop is adorable. I love the Foos ball tables, couches, free arcade games, and even a cute little Paw Patrol game for little kiddos. They also have Readers Digest books out to read! The staff is super friendly and helpful and unlike other tea shops, you can get an extra large. But above all that, the tea is sooo good. They have so many great options, including Vietnamese coffee and coffee milk tea and creme brulee cold foam. This is my new favorite tea shop.“

“Stood in line for 10 plus mins because one obnoxious woman asked about everything single items on the menu trying to figure out what her daughter purchased for her. Instead of calling her daughter this lady went down the list and had two staff guess what her daughter had bought for her. I finally place my order and this lady comes back in line asking questions about the size and price difference for another 10 minutes. I finally got my drink and I’m standing outside and this lady is still at the counter.

“One of my favorite drink shops! The strawberry tea slush is my number one favorite. I was so happy to receive a lucky Chinese New Year red envelope when I purchased my favorite drink. That was so sweet and thoughtful! Wishing this store lasting success and prosperity forever.“

“Random stop after getting gas in Chantilly and ended up trying KOKKEE for fruit tea and boba. The service alone deserves five stars — the staff was welcoming, patient with questions, and the drinks came out quickly. You can tell they care about the customer experience.

The shop itself is fun and cozy. They have a cute seating area with plush toys, shelves of little collectibles, and a whiteboard where customers leave drawings and notes. It gives the place personality and makes it feel like a spot people actually hang out in, not just grab-and-go.

We tried two drinks: a mango fruit tea and a matcha milk tea. Presentation was great and the cups are adorable (“Hug in a Cup” is a nice touch). The mango fruit tea was refreshing and fruity, especially if you like bright citrus flavors. The matcha milk tea was smooth but a little lighter in matcha flavor than I personally prefer.

“Ben Gong's Tea locations are not that common, but they make their mark by producing consistent drinks every time I go.
The cups here are unique and I like their designs. I get their cheese slush or mango sago. While I like Yi Fang's mango sago better, ben gong also has a decent drink.
I always feel like their drinks are never that cold. Perhaps because the cups are a little more insulated?“
