“If you haven’t had a crepe from here you need to come here - it will change your life. I stumbled across this place while walking through the Ballston Quarter Mall and it knocked me off my feet. The crepes are nice and sweet, but not too sweet. At the same time they are so light and airy, they are the ultimate dessert or snack. Their drinks are also so good - I feel like it’s hard to find a really good matcha drink these days but these ones are legit. Also the location is great because there are so many amazing food stalls next to it and the space in general is nice to just hang out with friends. After you come here you will definitely share it with your friends to change their life as well.“

I LOVE the durian milkshake and my partner keeps coming back for the Milo slush. 10/10 no notes. We’ve also tried the garlic pork rice (yum) and the Taiwan milk tea is also delicious. It has a separate entrance from Bangkok 54 market and is still open when the main part is closed!!“

“We got lucky and had lunch here during a day of tourism. Inexpensive and great food and boba. The cook (who was the only one working there as you can order with the ipad) was nice and the place was clean and cozy. We went at an off-peak time so we were able to sit at the counter but I imagine that during lunch rush it must mostly be for takeout as there are few seats. Also I don't think they had a bathroom as I looked around for one and didn't see it. It wasn't an emergency situation though so did not ask to use one.“

“For starters, the shop is adorable. I love the Foos ball tables, couches, free arcade games, and even a cute little Paw Patrol game for little kiddos. They also have Readers Digest books out to read! The staff is super friendly and helpful and unlike other tea shops, you can get an extra large. But above all that, the tea is sooo good. They have so many great options, including Vietnamese coffee and coffee milk tea and creme brulee cold foam. This is my new favorite tea shop.“

“So my first taste of Asian cuisine in DC. I hate so many people are going to QR codes instead of actual servers, but glad it works. Whole experience was about 30 minutes worth of dining total. We ordered the Mapo Tofu (Vegan), the Spicy Beef Noodles, and the lucky 6 soup dumplings (to get a sample of them all). The three I tasted were the seafood options, so the green/red/and yellow tipped pictured below. The green was gourd buffalo, shrimp, and pork. The red was scallops & pork. And the yellow tip was crab meat and pork. My date had the other three. Truffle & pork (black), pork & chicken (yellow), and pork (white). All items were extremely tasty, and the spicy levels were perfection. Only there whem you ate the item and then disappears. Nothing lingering too long. Rice was nice and sticky. The tofu was silky, but not mushy. My favorite was the bokchoy in the beef noodles. Still crunchy! Will most definitely recommend and return!“

The shop is small, but the customer service was outstanding; the staff were polite and friendly. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and nicely decorated. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and fresh which was truly a rare find, especially in an Asian shopping market.“

John was really helpful and walked us through the different menus and the self-ordering setup. I liked that you can order from multiple restaurants all in one place, which makes it perfect for indecisive groups or people who all want different things. One person can get a salad, another can get a burger, and someone else can grab pizza, all in the same order. We tried the lime salt and Royal Greens, and it was a great experience overall.“

The sugar or syrup they used tasted more like a sugar substitute, almost like the sweetness you get from chewing gum. Not bad, just not the typical milk tea sweetness I expected.

Overall, decent milk tea with a slightly unusual sweetener taste. I’d try other flavors before deciding if I wanted write this place off for milk tea.“

The cups here are unique and I like their designs. I get their cheese slush or mango sago. While I like Yi Fang's mango sago better, ben gong also has a decent drink.
I always feel like their drinks are never that cold. Perhaps because the cups are a little more insulated?“
