Gong Cha in Arlington has received mixed feedback. When management changed, professionalism and standards went down noticeably. Some staff are very polite and kind, but others are not particularly professional, including dressing in a way that is not appropriate for food service. One employee was super rude, but a second try brought great service from a new employee named Mary. Another customer found a great boba place here and shouted out Mary for great service, noting she has a smile on her face. Gong Cha never misses. The Hong Kong milk tea is out of this world, the passion fruit green tea is extraordinary, and the classic pearl black milk tea is a safe bet. Baristas are always friendly and accommodating, and everything is packed well for taking drinks on the go.
