The Gyudon Japanese Beef Bowl was enjoyable, though I found it relatively standard and felt that the portion size was small for the price. The Hong Kong Coffee Milk Tea was satisfactory, and I was pleased to discover that I could adjust the sugar level to suit my taste preferences.

The establishment offers a variety of food options, including Jian Bing Guo Zi and Popcorn Chicken. I look forward to returning to sample these dishes.“

“After a long, lackluster day of a birthday—I went to Lulu cafe. And it was the best way possible to conclude my birthday last night. The vibe was really chill and energetic at the same time. The staff as well as the customers just made it a wonderful place to celebrate with my friends. The karaoke rooms had great sound quality and everything about it was designed for a good time. I will definitely be back. Everyone was dancing and getting hyped, even if they were just sitting down and drinking. It was like being on an episode of Adventure Time. “We got the gyro sandwich with a side salad, a side of fries, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and turkey sausage as the protein, and a medium cardamom latte and medium lavender latte.

Pros:
-location is easily accessible being next to one of the free garages in old town Fairfax
-Lattes were great tasting and great value for specialty flavors.
-Bagel wasn’t too bready and the ingredients of the breakfast sandwich had a good ratio. Eggs cooked well.
-gyro sandwich was tasty and the side of fries were really good.

Cons:
-breakfast sandwich needs some kind of sauce, overall combination is a little dry.
-gyro sandwich could use a little more meat. They also don’t let you sub fries for an up charge and make you buy a side of fries for almost $4. Would like an up charge option to sub fries instead of forcing me to pick chips or salad then order fries.

Overall, I would love to come back because it’s what I expect to pay and receive in terms of quality from a cafe in an “old town”.“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“We have a lunch date every other Tuesday when our house cleaners come. We hadn't been here, and saw it had good ratings. It's a modest establishment, dated but clean. I had a Reuben, and my wife had chicken salad on a sub roll with lettuce and onion. Most patrons seemed happy and familiar, likely coming from the surrounding offices. The owners welcomed and checked on us, a nice touch. My sandwich was larger than expected, and hers was too. She would've liked a little salt and tarragon, but didn't ask for either. No complaints.“

“I got delivery service. The food arrived in a container that doesn’t fit the bag, so the lid fell off and food spilled into the bag. The bag was sealed so nothing lost but kind of a mess. Also, the serving of dressing was not enough to make everything moist, so that’s something to keep in mind if you get delivery. The steak medallions in my bowl were amazingly moist and delicious and the other ingredients were equally fresh.I’ll choose pick up next time but enjoyed my food.“

“10/10! Their burritos are nicely seasoned, but not overpowering nor greasy at all- super juicy but zero leakage through the tortilla (I got the Mexican burrito)! Prices were lower than expected for a cafe! I was also looking for some low sodium options for a friend with health conditions and the staff was very kind and gave great recommendations that my friend thought were perfect :). Definitely will be returning here often!

If you are trying to reverse heart disease on the Esselstyn or Ornish, or similar plans such as McDougall, this is one of a few restaurants in the nation where you can order anything off the menu. “Worst location. I have never been in Panera Bread this dirty before. I visit this chain few times a week all over norther VA, this place was bad…every table was dirty and greasy, filthy bathroom..it was horrible. I felt like getting up and leaving right away. I told one of the employees that tables need to be wiped and he acknowledged the issue. Ten minutes later I saw one of employees running around spraying tables barely wiping them dry. I had to get up and finish the job myself. Panera Bread, this is not up to your standards! Very disappointing. Will avoid this location at all cost.
