We preordered from here because it was one of the few places that allow to actually put in a future order and we didn't want to have to deal with a wait during the game/with guests. “Il Faro is a very good restaurant. I love the Chicken Marsala here. Extremely tasty. A different spin on it as they don't use spaghetti as the pasta. The chef uses penne pasta and it absorbs the flavors of the sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and the organic chicken well. The chicken is extremely tender and the chef consistently delivers this dish in the three times we have been here since they took over after Mama Mias closed. I also want to note they do the appetizers well. We enjoy the mozzarella sticks and the meatballs. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh since it doesn't have that frozen taste and the sauce to dip in is very tasteful. As for the meatballs, they are beef based but the chef adds a great flavor of the tomato sauce and mozzarella and they add delightful bread to soak up the remaining sauce and cheese after you enjoy the meatballs. The pizza is a thin crust cooked toward the under side so no browning on the cheese. It is a NY pizza in the finest of traditions. You will enjoy it. Service is top notch. I mean 100%. We go in and we are 100% satisfied with the service. Waitress is efficient, smart and completely interested in making sure you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

The restaurant has an old-world decor with period murals and paintings depicting an Italian parade in New York City. Lamps resembling old gas lights and classic-style light fixtures create a unique ambiance. The Hickory Smoked Baby Ribs were finger-licking good, and the fried calamari and lobster bisque were also delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for its great food, service, and atmosphere!“

We decided to drop by for a meal on a Sunday afternoon. We found a wonderful Italian restaurant that was intriguingly busy on a Sunday afternoon.My wife had the salmon and I had the steak special.Both dishes were cooked immediately about 10 feet from us and served steaming hot. “Villa Bella is such an amazing restaurant. It can be difficult to get a reservation here as it is really popular in the Burke area, but that's because it is such a unique spot. I love the wood-fired pizzas from here because this style adds to the crispiness of the pizza crust. Calamari fritti is nice and airy, unlike many places where they sometimes make the appetizer too dense or oily. Reasonable amount of salt in the calamari fritti, which impresses me because I don't find that often in the calamari I've gotten from other Italian restaurants. The fried mozzarella and arancini are also some must-haves. Before eating here, I used to not like arancini, but this place has converted me into someone who loves arancini.With pasta dishes, some of my personal favorites are the ziti alla Paesana, manicotti, and ravioli. Their chicken parm pasta is also really good.This cozy restaurant nestled in Burke definitely sets the bar high for Italian food in the DMV and has personally elevated my palate on Italian cuisine. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, and even a faraway drive is worth it in my opinion. I definitely hope to come back here.“

We enjoyed some Italian red wines and ordered the Ricotta dip with grilled bread as a starter. I would add a small side of additional toppings for the Ricotta (honey, walnuts, salt/olive oils) as you eat down through the layers. It was delicious but the top layer was the best. We also ordered the grilled octopus appetizer with artichokes, veggies, and potatoes which was absolutely delicious! My partner tried the make your own pasta option, which he really enjoyed choosing noche with rosa sauce, chicken adding in veggies at $1 a piece upcharge. We ended our meal with a delightful crème Brulee for dessert. Our server was pleasant and attentive during our lunch stay. The atmosphere was romantic and quaint. “Havabite eatery has the best chicken souvlaki and gyro sandwiches in Northern Va. We stopped in here not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how good the meals were. Most other places overcook the souvlaki meat leaving it dry but at Havabite the meat was tender and well seasoned and the bread was fresh and the tzatziki sauce was yummy and creamy. The only improvement would be on the baklava, which was on the dry side. We'll definitely be back for more.“

“Recently joined some old friends at Pupatella in Reston. It was only a short walk from the Metro so it was convenient for all of us.. We ended up being a group of 7 and were welcomed cheerfully and quickly seated. Great bartender fixed a variety of drinks. We started out sharing a a bunch of appetizers, which were all very good. However, the pizza was the star of the show. It was thin crust baked quickly in a very hot oven and with fresh toppings was delicious. One of our friends grew up in Italy and said it was the most authentic Neapolitan pizza he has had since moving to the U.S. We lingered around talking for a good while and no one made us feel rushed. Needless to say, we will all be back! In fact, we noticed that they have a really nice outdoor area that will be great when the weather warms up.“

“We love the pizza and other food here. Been going here for years. .........but, today I ordered garlic knots and two slices of pizza. After one employee took out my knots and put them in the oven, another worker went reload the bowl of garlic knots which were already cooked, with more cooked ones, so he got his bare hands, without gloves, and just grabbed as many as he could and dumped them in the bowl that was on display so it would be ready for the next customer. Poor sanitation. I felt like canceling my order.... but I didn't. Just won't go back there. While he was doing this, he sneezed right in front of where there were two fresh hot pizzas that just came out of the oven. So, first thing I thought was, that's very poor sanitary conditions for the rolls, the sneeze you can't avoid, but it definitely got all over those pizzas that were right in front of him. They might want to wear gloves so they don't contaminate the food and possibly have a sneeze /fly/bug/shield blocking contaminants, etc., from getting on exposed food. Again, I love their food but didn't like what I saw today and the workers didn't seem to have any issue with that. this message is for management--hopefully they do something about that cause I like the place and don't want to stop going there for something so easy to fix.Parking: good“
“Visited on a Sunday Eve with a res. Seated upon arrival. The Place got busy quick. Wait staff was attentive. But seemed like they rushed us out when we looked done. House Chianti was very good. Arancini was one of the best I've had. Veal Canneloni Special was good not great Fusilli pasta special was served with rigatoni, I dont think anyone else noticed. Had great sausage and LOTS of garlic.....that was fine we were vampire hunting after dinner. I would definitely return. I'd like to try other items and update my rating.“
