“"Tiki Thai offers a blend of flavors with some hits and misses. While their dishes lean towards the expensive side and portions may not be the most generous, their premium tacos stand out for their crunch and value for money. The ambiance and decor evoke a vibe atmosphere, adding to the dining experience."“
“Came here just because I am sick of eating fast food and was out. It’s a traditional Thai food with a moody ambiance. The customer service was great and food was good. The veg dumplings was sooo good! The pad Thai was average. The waiter was attentive and helpful.“
“I ordered green tea ice cream to go, at the end of my meal, and took it next door to my hotel to eat. Had to throw it away when I opened it because they drizzled chocolate syrup all over it. I am severely allergic to chocolate and couldn’t even touch it. Please ask before adding an ingredient not on the menu, and which wouldn’t be expected to go with green tea flavor. Otherwise good and service were very good.“
“I used to live in Bangkok, Thailand as a kid for 8 years. I’ve been in the states for a long while now and have had very good Thai food at some different places but this place EASILY is the best I’ve had since being stateside. Each bite brought me such strong emotions and memories tied to my childhood! The whole staff was so kind and treated our group with true Thai hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food - look no further!“
“I eat here about 3 times a week since its right by work. definitely check out their chefs specials. drunken noodle, pad see ew and basil fried rice is always my rotation on their lunch special! the staff are amazing and very helpful with the menu!“
“Best Thai food I’ve eaten. The vegetables are very fresh & deliciously prepared. Our server was very attentive & cordial. Large dining area & outside court available.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishes to choose from.Parking: Parking can be tricky as there is no lot“
“Excellent food, clean, cozy, and reasonably priced. Their calamari is cooked so it's super crispy on the outside, but the squid is very tender - almost to the point of having the texture of fish. Their green curry is awesome. Their fried banana with ice cream is a great way to finish with something unusual and tasty.“
“We found another Thai restaurant that we like, and it's out in the outskirts of NoVa. The place is beautifully appointed. The food was carefully prepared. And lastly. Service was timely and the staff was friendly. We will add this to our favorite “
“I always enjoy going to Elephant Jumps Thai restaurant for their food. I usto work across the street back in the days and found out about this restaurant. I have tried a different meal every time I have ordered from here and have never been disappointed. I have moved to Woodbridge and I still make the drive when I want to get some Thai food.“
“Well this 'Pad Thai Restaurant' is the simplest restaurant I've been to. It's a strip mall ambiance with plain walls, or no decor at all. Pretty small and long with fewer settings.Husband and I decided to stop by on November 16-23 as mentioned in the previous review we were packing our things and moving to another place. We were kinda tired so we arrived around 20:20.My husband ordered 'Duck Hi So' full of ginger aroma. Light batter crispy duck, shrimps, ginger onions, scallions, carrots, celery, bell pepper with white steamed rice.My dish was the 'Drunken Noodle' with wide rice ribbon noodles sauteed with eggs, onions, fresh basil leaves and beef. I prefer chicken but this time I wanted to taste something different.Husband liked his dish he said: The duck was pretty good with a lot of meat, not just bones. It was just perfect with the rice.My noodles were kinda good, while the beef wasn't a good cut and had a lot of sinues. So I mostly just ate the noodles. This restaurant has been around nearly 20 years. It is family run by two ladies. They're polite and the owner came to our table making sure everything was alright. Also they're good about asking you how spicy you'd like your dish - very important in an Asian restaurant. They didn't rush us by the time we finished they were ready to close. My husband met them before when we first moved to Virginia in January -23 he ordered food for us there. To me it was the first time visiting the restaurant. In my opinion if you're looking for a beautiful ambiance, to take your date and relax is not the place.Great for take out like we had the first time.Vegetarian options: About six vegetarian dishes listed on the menuParking: Spacious parking lot“
“Initially skeptical of how well one restaurant can churn out authentic and delicious dishes from an entire region of the globe, all of our doubts were put to rest as soon as the first appetizer came out and we came away totally converted into regulars. We started out with the pie tee (crabmeat-filled crispy shells) as our appetizer, followed up with beef rendang and kway teow tom yum as the mains. The quality was consistently top-notch. The beef rendang was so tender - even the thickest pieces of meat were fall-apart tender, moist, and flavorful. The kway teow tom yum was slightly tart but with a deep, rich flavor that we'd never experienced before - it's our new favorite soup. Finally, we could not stop raving about the service Gina L. provided us - she's the best server we can ever remember having. She made sure every detail was taken care of before we even thought of it, from bringing and explaining the spice rack, bringing extra bowls and spoons so we could share the entrees (before we even asked), and just being very friendly and welcoming all around. We are adding Southeast Impression to our shortlist of top places to dine in the DC area.Parking: As others have mentioned, it's easiest to park in the garage near the Giant and just walk around the corner/down the street. Even though we were there on a busy Saturday evening, as soon as we went up to the second level of the garage, it was all wide open.“
“i tried this spot because it happens to be across the street from my job and i was craving boba and thai food! and i was not disappointed!! i got the lunch special for 12$ decent portion and very flavorful. i ordered the drunken noodles that came with an appetizer of your choice and i picked gzoa dumplings. and then a thai tea with boba which tasted very good!! definitely try this spot:)“
“My family has been doing here for as long as I can remember. They do great lunch specials during the week but always have amazing service and food! Some of our family faves are the pad see ew/drunken noodle/ginger chicken/pad Thai/firecracker chicken/Thai fried rice. The Tom yum soup and Thai tea is also really good. I am no longer in the area but always stop by when I am in town.“
“I do not usually write reviews, but this place deserves a great review. The food is well cooked, not salty, and very delish! My favorite is the Ginger Lover entrée, PERFECT every time!I always takeout so I cannot speak for the atmosphere, I can say every time I go to pickup there are many waiting. I always order head for easy pickup, and the staff is always friendly.“
“I like this place. The food is good, with vegan and gluten-free options!(I have had *better* Thai food. All of Finn Thai's curry has fish sauce in it and can not be made vegan=no 5 star rating.)(Now that I think of it.... when I say I have had better Thai food, maybe it's because I'm comparing it to curry dishes I have had elsewhere, when here I was unable to have curry. Maybe I just like curry better? Lol. I'm just trying to be completely honest!)The food always comes out super fast!! Like, always surprisingly fast!! On Valentine's Day, for example, we went before the dinner rush (there was only one other table seated in the restaurant when we arrived), and without buying alcohol we were in and out in under 45 minutes! (I mention not having alcohol because if we were also taking time to enjoy drinks, it probably would have taken longer)Takeaway: In my experience, great for a quick *real* meal. Early dinner times always seem like a great time to go/not busy. Will be back. This is the closest restaurant to where I currently live with vegan/gluten-free options.Vegetarian options: Definitely ask!! A lot of dishes don't necessarily have tofu listed as a protein option, but in my experience, they are happy to use tofu instead of meat.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and vegan options! All of the curry has fish sauce in it, which sucks as that is my favorite Thai dish. I don't remember everything being labeled well on the menu, but definitely ask! The servers are always knowledgeable, in my experience, and can help guide you to something appropriate for you!I have not been "glutened" here!Parking: The parking lot directly in front of the restaurant is small, but every time I visited, there were plenty of spots. The restaurant is in the back of a large shopping/business area, so there is plenty of free parking around, but if it is busy, you may have to park a bit farther.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps up to the restaurant. Like... more than just a few steps.“
“We've gotten delivery from this restaurant a number of times and it's always delicious. The mushroom forest and crispy chive cakes are particular favorites, but we've also had the pad see ew, panang curry, khao soi, and herbal falls and they were great as well. I'm so happy to find a place with khao soi - had it in Chiang Mai and it's hard to find in Thai restaurants around here.“
“This place is a bright, comfortable restaurant where you pay and order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. When I visited 7 years ago, I was disappointed by their Panang curry. When I visited today, they had things on the menu that I had never seen before. I ordered a Southern Thai dish. All I can say is that it was delicious!Vegetarian options: They have a sign saying that just because something has vegetables in it does not mean it is vegetarian or vegan; however, unless you are seeking ritual purity, I believe you could find a decent, reasonably vegetarian dish here.“
“Had this delivered so can't really say anything about the restaurant itself. We ordered the Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, and Chai Iced Tea. Our food arrived in about 15 minutes and was hot and fresh. Everything was well packaged, with napkins and eating utensils included. The Pad Thai was a bit sweeter than what I am used to, and there was a delicate seasoning that I couldn't quite place. Overall the entire meal was fabulous! This is my first time trying any type of sticky rice, and l was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Light and sweet with a creamy, coconut milk dressing. Will definitely try this again next time I'm in town.“
“I enjoyed my dinner at Bangkok St. Thai Restaurant. This was my first time dining here, and I came in for dinner on a weeknight around 7PM. There were a couple of tables still available, but there was only one person staffed to wait on all the seated customers and attend the cash register for carryout orders. There wasn't a hostess stand, and also no sign letting customers know to seat themselves. We finally went to the cashier, who told us we could sit anywhere. I saw quite a few groups come in and awkwardly stand by the door wondering what to do, so I think a sign would have been helpful.I ordered the Thai Beef Jerky, Pad Thai with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. Everything was good. It's definitely not the best Thai Food in the area, but I would definitely order the beef jerky and Thai Iced Tea again. Also, the portions are pretty huge. My order of Pad Thai was enormous! I think it's almost triple what I normally get at other restaurants.Parking: Plenty of parking around dinner time on a weeknight.“
“Wanted to pickup some food with family on a Monday night and they suggested this spot for Thai food. We placed our orders online and pickup time was about 30 minutes. We came over and they seemed a little backed up because they had a lot of people picking up too. We had to wait about 15 minutes. The staff was still really nice and friendly though. The food I ordered traveled pretty well. We got some Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Mango Curry, and Steamed Thai Dumplings. The Thai Dumplings were really good. Good combination of flavors and pretty good size. The Pad Thai was good. Nothing mind blowing but pretty solid. Same goes for the Mango Curry.Good place if you're looking for some quick Thai in the Ashburn area.“
“I’ve been eating at this Thai restaurant since I was a little girl and it still does not disappoint. I am usually not a fan of duck, but they have figured it out and it was magical! So happy to see them still doing well. The Tom Yum soup is also perfection. The atmosphere has always been a bit strange inside, tables are close together and it’s hard to have a private conversation. I saw LOTS of to go orders though.“
“I've been here many times over the years. One of the first was with my daughter who declared her dish just like her boyfriend's Thai mother made. We're fans. Today wasn't the best, as my wife's ground chicken and basil leaves with string beans was too salty. Fortunately we share well, so we split my wide noodles with crispy duck. Her vegetable tom yum soup and my vegetable spring roll were good.“
“I got the Braise Beef Ka Pow and went ahead and dared fate with the Thai Spicy level. It was easily in the top 3 speciest dishes I have ever consumed and I was NOT let down. The beef was also cooked perfectly and I can't wait to order again once I recover the nerve endings in my face! Much love ❤️“
“If you love a simple Hainanese chicken rice with a warm bowl of soup do try this place ! We got 2 combos the combo A with poached chicken and fried chicken with rice & combo C which was grilled chicken and fried chicken with rice and a big bowl of chicken clear soup , both were good but I enjoyed the combo C better . They serve it with 2 sauces both delicious, if you like extra spicy then surely ask for chilli oil ? its spicyy be careful! Overall a great experience the food ambiance !Parking: Its in a huge plaza , right next to lotte market“
“I've been eating here for years. One of the best Thai food I've ever had. It tastes just like the food I ordered in Thailand. I really like the strong red chili flavors in the dishes, such as the nua nam tok and drunken noodle, which are really succulent. Food does take time, but it is worth the wait. Other entree recommendations are the pad kra pow, crabmeat fried rice, and the crispy duck with the basil.“
“Good-sized portion of drunken noodles, as well as basil fried rice. Chicken satay and sauces were great, the additional spicy condiments also added flavor to the good food :) Staff were friendly and food arrived on time. Lovely time at the place.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free, egg-free options.Kid-friendliness: I like the teddy bear on their logo :)“
“We eat here a lot through delivery. Today, we received a somewhat wrong order. One item was different. It happens. We didn’t worry about it and said nothing. 15 minutes later, our doorbell rang with the another package replacing the order with the correct item.Sincerely shocked. Thank you. That is the business they have. They correct their mistakes without even asking.Food is always great. Maybe I’ll even order the mistaken item myself! A vegetarian spring roll… and I am definitely not a vegetarian person.“
“The place is small but very clean with a modern ambiance. We ordered tofu fried rice and panang curry. The tofu fried rice tasted good, although it was somewhat soggy. The panang curry was really good. The food portions are suitable for two people.“
“Had the chicken pad Thai and ordered it "Thai hot" and was not disappointed. It could have been spicier, but it was still very good. Highly recommend and glad my coworker found it because I would have looked right over the place because I don't eat seafood so wouldn't have looked at a restaurant named "The Seafood Lover"!“
“Been doing take out here the last few years, it has become our go to for Thai takeout. Very consistent and so fast. Prices are extremely reasonable. Inside is small but cozy. Great local spot.Parking: Strip mall so plenty of free close parking“
“A delicious gem! Haven't found a Thai place this good in the DMV area in years -- since Kanlaya closed in Chinatown. One recommendation for the restaurant. We went here (several weeks ago) initially mainly because we are vegan and the menu photos on Yelp were so clearly showing options to get dishes with no fish/oyster sauce. But your new menus don't even have those options printed on them, and there was a bit of a language barrier, so it wasn't all that easy to get the food vegan. Suggest re-adding that to the menu so that I can at least point at the option I want. But awesome place, and we'll be back.“
“This place is amazing indeed. My son had a Tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag(garlic fried rice) and Itlog (egg), a well known Filipino breakfast, also Lumpia. I had Kare Kare (Peanut sauce stewed oxtail. OMG, it’s the most delicious Kare Kare I have ever tried. The oxtail just melted in my mouth, gourmet Kare Kare indeed. Presentation was awesome and customer service was excellent. It’s a hidden gem indeed. We will definitely be back for many more to try all their dishes. Though they have international cuisines , so happy that they embraced and also highlight their Filipino dishes. You will not disappoint with this restaurant. We finished our meal with Turon (Fried Banana) topped with Ice cream. Thank you for the heavenly meal. We loved it so much! We left with big smiles on our faces.“
“I recently discovered a Thai restaurant near my home that serves good food, perfect for chilly and rainy days. The wall inside the restaurant is decorated with a big phrase that reads, "Don't eat less, just eat Thai food." I wholeheartedly agree with this statement, as I am a huge fan of Thai cuisine. Everything was great except for the Strawberry Cheesecake, which was overly sweet and lacked actual cheese, despite its name.“
“Went for a Valentines dinner and had a great meal. We ordered the rolling duck roti, tom yum soup, and the nua num tok (spicy steak salad...my fave!) for appetizers. They came out quickly and were all so good. We also ordered chicken pad thai and pork drunken noodles, which were both among the best we've ever had, and with huge portions. The service is attentive and fast considering there is really just one server and two other staff helping bring out the dishes.Prices are what you expect given inflation today, but we thought it was a good value for all the wonderful food we were served. The interior is well decorated considering the dining space must have originally been designed as an atrium restaurant for a 1980's hotel. Can't wait to go back!“
“This is a great place to dine in and enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. It was easy for my family to be seated, as I noticed most of their business is to go. The waitress was very polite and perfectly fluent in both English and Thai. We had Crab Rangoon, Calamari, Chicken Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, and Crying Tiger. Each made fresh, delicious, and authentic Thai style, full of flavor. I highly recommend any of those dishes.“
“This is the goto place for our family. We have to stop ourselves from coming here everyday. My favorites are pork kaprow and green curry. However everything is top notch. We also had them cater for my wife's birthday in their restaurant. All the guests had wonderful things to say about the food.“
“It's my first time trying this place, and the food was good but not the best I've had at Japanese restaurants. The server was professional and excellent. I want to come back and try more dishes.Parking: Retail parking garage available.“
“I recently dined at Hunan Village that left a lasting impression. The exquisite flavors of their dishes showcased a perfect balance of traditional authenticity and innovative twists. The staff's hospitality was truly remarkable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I entered, their attentiveness and genuine friendliness added to the overall dining experience. Each dish was a culinary delight, highlighting the skillful preparation and fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a memorable Chinese dining experience with exceptional food and outstanding service.“
“The Thai dishes are very flavorful and the spicy dishes come with a nice punch! The Pad Thai has an extra flavor of citrus (lemon) which allows you to have more and more without feeling heavy. You can taste the "wok heat" from the Pad See Ew dish. The spice will wake you up but you don't suffer. The folks there are super nice and friendly. This is a revisit spot for sure.“
“We went here for dinner on a weekend and the place was a bit busy. We tried the spicy basil fried rice, panang fried rice and basil tofu. All the dishes were more on the sweet side, had mild flavours with less seasoning. The portions were pretty good and service was quick. Overall, this is a decent spot for the price point.“
“Khao soi was a delectable and inspiring view into Northern Thai cuisine. It was creamy, fresh lemongrass flavor, and seasoned very well. Came with a nice heaping portion of crispy noodles on top.Duck ka prow was an absolute garlic explosion of flavor. The duck was moist, crispy, and lay on a bed of steamed veggies. The sauce was a little fishy and had some vinegar. Overall a favorite dish.Came around 2pm on Sunday and had no trouble getting a table without a reservation.“
“On the previous Saturday, I had the delightful opportunity to have a meal with my family in order to celebrate my son's birthday at this remarkable Thai restaurant. The cuisine was absolutely delectable and the servings were exceptionally generous. I particularly relished the Pad Thai Jae Traditional Noodles dish. In addition, we indulged in a variety of other dishes such as Spring Rolls, Veggie Fried Rice, and a couple of chicken entrees. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, featuring traditional Thai decorations and pleasant music. The wait staff was amiable and attentive, consistently ensuring that everything was to our liking. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a distinctive dining experience that encompasses superb food, outstanding service, and a delightful atmosphere.“
“My husband and I came dined in this week and I have to say, the food is amazing. The Pad Thai is phenomenal and my husband enjoyed the Drunken Noodles with Chicken! The restaurant ambiance is stunning, beautifully decorated! However the service was okay. Our waitress looked like she had a bad day and did not engage in conversation. She also had an earphone in, it almost was as if she was on the phone while serving us. However, the food made up for the service and Burapa gets five stars from us!“
“The owner has turned a typical take out place into a cozy family restaurant with lovely Christmas decorations and actual heating (can't say how many restaurants still blow cold air onto your food in winter), felt warm and welcomed dining here. We ordered their lunch special, drunken noodle and basil fried rice with chicken, both were superb. Fresh ingredients, with the right amount of spicy, full of Thai flavors. We didn't have to wait long for the dishes either. The server was courteous and attentive. Will be back to try their other dishes~“
“Easy to find the place and abundant parking available in the area.7-9 tables in total. It is good to have reservation, if not they will be accommodate walk-ins. But wait times isn’t that long.Ambiance is okay, table height is decent and atmosphere is very calm.Staff and service is quick and excellent. Feels like a family owned business which shows in a good way. Language is not a barrier.Food is great, I have tasted some of the best curries and duck dishes here and attention to details is good. Dishes are well presented. Ginger rice dishes are amazing.Drunken noodles has good taste. I liked it spicy version during lunch a lot so I visited the place again for dinner but felt a sweet tasting drunken noodles. Would prefer more consistency of items to be repeated customerI especially liked their appetizers more - Crispy butterfly shrimp, Golden triangles and Kanom Jeeb. Will definitely return for more.“
“The food has an odd twist to it that I haven't seen in other Thai restaurants. Nothing major, maybe an odd ingredient not native to Thailand, but overall still very good and the portions are pretty decent compared to others in the area for the same price. The service is fine, the staff polite, but that atmosphere leaves something to be desired. For most people though this is a fine spot with good food.“
“Food and service are always fantastic. My favorite Thai place outside of Thailand...the food is never heavy and it's always authentic. They've even advised me when the mango wasn't ripe and couldn't be used, instead of just serving. The seating can be a little awkward as the oblong tables put you closer to the stranger sitting next to you than you are to your date.Dietary restrictions: My son has a peanut allergy and they've always been careful and accommodating. Fantastic flavor on vegetarian options.“
“This place makes really good food. We enjoy coming here to have their lomein, and we have also tried their chicken dumplings, and teriyaki chicken and beef. Totally recommend the dumplings, which are also at a very affordable price ($4 for 5 pan friend or $3.50 steamed). Their beef lomein is extremely savory and just like a place that was in Ballston area (brings good memories!!), their chicken teriyaki is okay, not the best but not the worst either. Give them a shot. Also very happy about ordering on a screen (or you can also go to the counter), as some of us have social anxiety and it is a good option in case people don't want to interact much with anyone.“
“I am truly a review snob and this place does have mixed reviews. Typically I pass on mixed review restaurants because one thing I do not like to do is waste my money. However me and a friend decided to check them out yesterday evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. We had Spring Rolls, Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai.“
“Awesome find while in town for work! Everything was amazing - apps and meal. I will definitely be back. The only issue I had was the sushi was advertised as an 8 piece roll and it came out with 6 instead. Unsure if that is always the case. Regardless, still very delicious food!“
