However, I called Bite of Asia 10 minutes before they closed and they were still able to make me an amazing meal in 6 minutes. Truly amazing! “I have not only travelled to Thailand, but studied Thai cuisine and also attended cooking classes. This place is the REAL DEAL!!!! Not your run of the mill pad thai place. More northern cuisine if you are familiar with it, think Chang Mai. Everything is out of this world, great bar and drinks, friendly and warm staff that attends to your every need.“

Service: good. It wasn't busy so there's one FOH person. He handled front desk, serving and to go orders just fine. He checked on me throughout my time there. Menu: they do NOT have a lunch menu. I read from previous yelpers that they ordered off the lunch menu, but unfortunately they don't have a lunch menu anymore. Other: i came in to eat and work, but right now they do not have WiFi. I was able to use my hotspot just fine. I will be back to try other menu items as i have enjoyed everything I've eaten so far.“

“We went to check out the new Padaek in Arlington after having been to the Falls Church location a few times. This one is nice, service is amazing, and the food is good. Buuuuuuttttt, it's different...I like my food spicy, and knew to order it "Lao spicy". When it arrived at the table, I could see that it just had a bunch of chilis added. This gives it a bit of spice, but is more like a level 3 out of 5. It was just lacking the heat as when ordering spicy at the other location. Obviously, they don't want to overwhelm their guests with spice, but if you're asking for that level of heat, you obviously want it. Oh well...it's good, and the flavors are tasty...but the other location feels more authentic.“

“Make no mistake - this is the Padaek location to go to if you have a choice, not the Arlington one. The Arlington one is significantly closer to my place but I always end up making the trek out to Falls Church because the OG location is simply better. Recommendations: the Naem Khao rice salad is crispy, crunchy, savory and delicious - I recommend getting it with the tofu, even if you're a meat eater like I am. I order the Ping with pork shoulder literally every time, because it's a fantastically heaped plate of seared meat with a nice mildly spicy dipping sauce. It also comes with a bag of tasty sticky rice that makes a low-carb eater like me abandon my low-carbness, at least for one meal. Padaek Falls Church will always be on my list of places to take out of towners.“

The Thai design elements, including large fixtures on the ceiling, added a unique touch to the décor. “Just tried this new Thai restaurant and omg it was DELISH! We broke from our usual pattern of Thai dishes (pad thai and pad see ew) and tried the 100 Islands Seafood and full Branzino. Absolutely yummy and savory. We also had the meatballs and corn fritters as apps and the fried ice cream. We are stuffed and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely recommend this place! They have a big menu that offers the usual fare plus dishes familiar to the Thai town of Donsak (where the owner is from). I had the Pad See Ew. The hot, broad rice noodles, with Chinese broccoli, and chicken were just what I needed on a cold, rainy night. There was a slight spice to it. I wanted to steer clear of too spicy. The menu offers Thai and Sushi. I believe there are some Asian-fusion dishes? There were many things I wanted to try. The Cousins were friendly and helpful. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. “Isshin has one of the BEST service in Adams Morgan. May is the woman who always helps me. I think she’s the manager. She keeps that place running swiftly and smoothly. During the pandemic, Isshin made every effort to keep their place sanitized and customers safe by using PPE and placing hand sanitizers all around. The staff works super fast to get meals ready for you. They always go above and beyond to offer excellent service. I had to order spicy shrimp rice and I was going to arrive close to closing time, May kept Isshin open until I arrived (5 mins late) to pick up my food. I only live 3 blocks away but once I was not able to pick up my food from Isshin. May immediately said, “if you live close, I’ll deliver for you.” And she did just that and as usual with a very pleasant demeanor and genuine smile. May and her team at Isshin make this restaurant one of the best in Adams Morgan. Thank you May and Isshin!!!“

“Just came here for lunch with a coworker and the place was completely empty. I think part of it was because we did come a little early (11:40am-ish), but left at 12:30pm and still no other people ate inside. There were people picking up orders or door-dash deliveries, etc. In any case, we sat down and the service was very fast and courteous. I ordered the Pad See Ewe and it arrived promptly (and super hot too!). The portions were decent and our water was filled once. It was super quiet, so not sure how the vibe is on a Friday or Saturday night. When we paid, the waitress (who I think may have been the owner?) arrived with a ipad where we simply tapped our credit cards and put in a tip. NGL, I like to tip in cash, so I preemptively took out my cash to show the waitress I was not going to forget tipping her, all the while I tapped "no tip" - even though I did tip her! Haha. Overall, a great lunch spot and I will definitely come back here. My only thing I would comment is that there are not a lot of parking spots in front of the restaurant.“

I got takeout recently and ordered a handful of items new to me--I particularly enjoyed the "Ped Grob Pad Gra Pow" (or crispy honey duck with basil). I also got some of the classics including Pad Thai which were great. When I arrived for pickup, I was the only one there but a few others arrived also to pickup. It appeared to be a husband-wife-duo running the establishment and they both came out to say hi and were extremely friendly and helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes for a very large order. Nice atmosphere and we found everything to be very worth the price.I am usually not a big fan of tofu, but their fried tofu in the Pad Thai was very tasty. The Khao Soi wasn't my favorite in the area, but it was still very good. Plus, I have found most places give 1 piece of chicken and this place gave double, at a comparable or lower price than the others, so I felt it was well worth it. The Papaya Salad was refreshing and the glaze on the Spicy Catfish was very delicious. Can recommend all those dishes.Service was more than adequate and the food came out quickly. The only minor negative was I found their rice to be a bit soggy/sticky. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or they just used too much water this time. Overall, I would recommend coming here. Also, the service is stellar - they remember their regulars and the place feels like an upscale family owned and operated restaurant. I would say the drunken noodles are amazing, but after trying several dishes, pretty much everything is great on the menu and the taste really varies between dishes. This place is a hit.“

It can be all plant based - I asked for mushrooms, spinach and broccoli to be added/substituted for the chicken, and with no hesitation they accommodated me! I'm so pleased with this Union Station fast casual option, located on the second level. If you take the stairs opposite the Amtrak ticket counter, you'll find it with big open air seating. This dish also includes tofu, vegetables, rice sticks & egg noodle combination in a coconut curry broth, with bean sprouts, fresh! green beans, and corn. Amazing, and spicy warm.
