“Amazing Thai spot! I came here for the first time today and ordered takeout. My go-to Thai spot used to be sisters Thai but lately they’ve been inconsistent, pricey, and giving noticeably smaller portions.

I decided to give Happy Thai a shot and was so glad I did! The food was so delicious, flavorful and authentic tasting. Service was great. I placed my order for pickup at 7pm and they had my food prepped and ready to go on the dot.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Love this place! New favorite Thai spot in the DMV! I'll be back and VERY SOON! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAI FOOD SPICY AS IT SHOULD BE!“

“We recently tried Sala Thai at Park Kennedy and had a great experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The kapow had a perfect spice level and was full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the crab rangoons and wontons, both were very good. The grilled beef was especially delicious: incredibly tender, flavorful, and paired with a great sauce. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Eatsy Thai is excellent. I always get the drunken noodles with shrimp and am never left disappointed.

All the other dishes I’ve tried have also been very good. It’s also convenient as they stay open much later than other restaurants in the Eden Center.

“Had a late lunch and everything was delicious and food came out nice and hot. Daughter had two orders of dumplings, which were tender and filled with pork. I had panang curry with fried tofu. The vegetable and tofu were cooked perfectly. The curry sauce had the perfect amount of heat. My husband had the panang curry with chicken. It was also perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was attentive and prompt. Overall loved this place!“

“A great new restaurant in Rockville serving delicious Laotian and Southeast Asian food. We ordered the Bermuda triangle appetizer which was a large portion of crispy spring rolls. For dinner, we had a the Vientiane beef jerky, beef Panang curry, and the dancing pork belly with Chinese broccoli. All the dishes were so flavorful, but the curry and pork belly were exceptionally good. Portions were large and service was quick and attentive. Their menu is very large so we look forward to being able to try more dishes our next time.“

The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! “I absolutely love Pantry!! It is my go to guilty pleasure. I basically order take out once a week from here. The pork fried rice in my favorite and arguably the best fried rice in the city. I also LOVE the sushi and always get the tuna avocado roll. This place is super accommodating if you have gluten allergy, they can make most rice and noodle dishes gluten-free and they even have a gluten-free soy sauce! Service is always a 10/10, they are super sweet. They also have pretty good happy hour deals and a market that sells gluten-free Ramen noodles. If you can’t tell already, I love this place!!!!“

We enjoyed the Beef massaman ( Slow-cooked beef in Massaman curry with potatoes, onions, and peanuts); it was a warm, nourishing comfort curry. Alongside the Baa Mee ( egg noodle, five spice roasted chicken, bok-choy, fried garlic,
peanuts, spring onion, and cilantro), it was excellent combination of flavorful noodles and a rich creamy curry. Service was excellent and the space was modern and vibrant. Acoustics were poor however, as the amplified din made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. Really the only note for the restaurant.“
