“Lots and lots of food options (don’t forget to look at their Menu Specials, separate from their regular menu). Loved that their menu was marked for dietary restrictions (I.e., GF) so we did not have to ask additional on how the dish was prepared. The server was very attentive and all dishes came out fast and fresh. Absolutely loved their garlic fried rice, good to have in addition to sushi rolls.Dietary restrictions: Menu is marked with all GF options.“

“If you are looking for ramen, then I think you're goin, which comes with roasted pork belly, fish cg to enjoy Maki Bar! I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen, which came with roasted pork belly, a little bit of corn, bok choy, scallion and seaweed. The pork belly was tasty. Almost kind of smoky but delicious and not too fatty. The broth was flavorful as well. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was super clean, and it was busy with a lot of take out orders. They even have sushi platters here in case you want to have a party at home! I recommend you come in person if you're going to have ramen. This is more of a place you'd come (or order out) for a casual meal. Maybe not for a date night.“

However, I called Bite of Asia 10 minutes before they closed and they were still able to make me an amazing meal in 6 minutes. Truly amazing! Also the gentleman at the front was so kind and welcoming!!“

Donburi Dojo Japanese • $$

“My wife and I went to Hanaro during lunch time, but it was only for takeout. There were some crumbs on the floor and some dust by the waiting area, but the store was fairly clean. The price of the sushi is reasonable and the taste and flavor of the sushi is of the highest quality. I am giving this restaurant a four-star rating because the taste of the sushi was truly exceptional and of the highest quality. Despite some minor cleanliness issues, the reasonable price and outstanding flavor make Hanaro a great choice for sushi lovers.“

“Newly renovated and gorgeous. I've been coming to the place for years when Bethesda was still the go to spot to go out for night life without having to go all the way to DC. However, since I'm older and "wiser" I don't go out to get shwasted anymore. But Hanaro aka Kusshi Bethesda, is still a nice sushi spot to chill and have a drink. The sushi is still as good as it has always been and since it's now part of the Kusshi brand, the quality of fish that you come to expect is definitely present here even if everything around this area is starting to die off. I've always sat at the bar to have a drink and food so the bartenders are always so nice and talk to you if you want or leave you alone if you don't. So service is great!“
