We ate here on a Thursday night, arriving at 7pm. We were seated upstairs and it was very warm in the upstairs seating area. They did turn on a fan type device after we were seated.
The food was excellent. However, the service was slow. We were pretty much ignored the first 15 minutes we were there and not asked if we wanted a cocktail or appetizer.
We finally place our order and received our meals after being there approximately 40 minutes.

The food was awesome and the portions were perfectly sized! Just beware sound carries a lot in the small space so sometimes if there are multiple parties it can be hard to hear, which might be mitigated if they sat people upstairs too.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the DC area! I love the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. I always love to take people here. The drinks are also phenomenal. Definitely come here if you’re looking for a great spot to eat in Old Town!
