“I love Cava! It was my first time at this location. It was very clean and service was quick. The food is very fresh and tasty at this particular location. They didn't have the Roma tomatoes this time but the mix they had was good though. I got the avocado on my bowl this time because It actually looked fresh and wasn't browning. I did notice that they keep the seeds of the avocado in the pan instead of throwing It away like other locations. I wonder why though? I'm thinking It must help keep the others fresh. Bowls typically run from $11 - $15 depending on what protein & extras you're getting. I'd definitely eat here again if I'm in the area.“

“We wandered here after a lazy day hanging out with friends. It's a small pizza spot my husband frequented in Bethesda when he use to live here. The menu is small which can be good and bad. For me it helped narrow down the choices. My pizza had sajook sausage and hot honey. It was sweet, meaty, and very cheesy Yumm! My husband got a play on traditional Turkish pizza which has basically ground meat on bread. Also very yummy. Come stop by! It gooooood!“

There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. “This has become my favorite brunch spot. I meet my friends here every time we need to get together. The variety of food/tapas and how they just bring it to you and clean up as you eat. My favorite is the jam and butter, the meat flatbread, French toast, and the poached eggs! The mimosas are good too, however I recommend ordered from the cocktail menu as the champagne in the mimosa is not the best. Their espresso is the best espresso I’ve had compared to all the coffee shops. The staff is always so accommodating and have such great customer service. “Seriously do NOT pay attention to the nagearive reviews. This place is 10x better than MOBY DICK around the corner. They give you complimentary bread and dip. Their kabob is the tenderest and juiciest in town. I don't know what oil and butter mix they use to cook it, but it is to die for. “Who would have expected fine dining meals from a small open kitchen (think pizza or sandwich shop style restaurant) with a few tables in a small strip shopping center in Great Falls, Virginia, but Thelo Greek Kuzina’s food was stellar. I could not decide what to get to take home for our family, so got way too much food for four people. Every meal, appetizer, and desert was delicious. we had the lamb shank meal, the New York Sirloin entree, Moussaka, Imam Baildi, lamb gyros, Greek salad, homemade potato chips (best ever), pita and hummus sampler, and more. Deserts were the lemon cake, apricot baklava, sour cherry baklava. Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. “May 2024 update: Fava Pot has become hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the broader Washington DC area. “This is a franchise with a limited menu. Cannot order any extra sides. Rice is bland and lacks sufficient spices. Take out is put in an aluminum tray with the fresh salad on top. After you get home the salad is soggy and unfit to eat. Minor changes will improve the experience.“

“How did I forget to review Plaka?? Plaka is consistently amazing. Fast, delicious and friendly service every single time. I love introducing people to Plaka. The food is always fresh and tasty. Some of my favorite things are the Plaka Gyro Wrap which has Authentic Greek-style pork gyro with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and fries inside. It's filling but you won't be in a food coma afterwards. I also love getting the plaka bowls where you can choose what you want in them. Kind of like Cava but way better.“

Simple decor and the owner is really friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent - I am vegan and he had no problem using tahini instead of tzaziki in my falafel sandwich, which was one of the best I've had! The prices were extremely reasonable and I am just sad it's so hidden away that people won't just run across it without knowing about it. The food was obviously prepared with care. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. And the bonus is they have outside heaters that keep you warm if you want to sit outside. Food Highlights: The Chicken Kabob stole the show for me as it was very well marinated and they included bread and yogurt which was great! Portion Size: Portion sizes are pretty good here so you definitely won't leave hungry, and you might even have some leftovers to enjoy later. But I wish they included 1-2 pieces of chicken as there was a lot more rice to chicken. Price: Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say the prices are reasonable especially for Tyson Area. And just wanted to say there service was really good and got the chance to met the owner Peter Tabibian who was very nice and welcoming!
