“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. “It is on the pricier side, but the food tastes very homemade and it’s very comforting. It also tastes pretty clean. I felt like I had a Turkish grandma cooking for me. Great adana kebob,tasty kofta but it would be better if they work on babaghanoush and the size of dinner portions
But overall i had one of best experiences here and definitely come back again
I had bad/ good experiences with the same server
But usually it’s because of they got very busy or maybe it’s just not a good day that’s all
And the atmosphere is really good when u just wanna chill out or have a breakfast or dinner date w friends
