“What at first seemed like a takeout/ casual eatery, turned out to be a neighborhood gem. The back sit-down area has a great ambiance and food was amazing! We got the mixed grill plate and it did not disappoint! Lamb chops and Kofta kebab were my favorite, but everything was great, including hummus and tzatziki. I gave a 4 on service only because they seemed short-staffed at the time. Our server, Mehmet was wonderful and we look forward to coming back!“

“We so enjoyed our lunch at Sofra after our time at the zoo! I didn’t know what I was expecting but my lunch was nothing like I expected - but it was better! Our sweet server, Jackline, was wonderful and attentive. She even surprised us with something special for dessert. Would definitely recommend Sofra while visiting DC!“
