I live in the area and this was first time I checked out this Mexican restaurant. Concise review - great service, nice vibe inside, and good, but not great food. The staff were very accommodating and friendly during lunch service. My date and I felt a good customer service experience. Vibe - I’m going to call it rustic artistic! Ate dinner here on a Friday night. Tasty! I had the carne asada, which is my go to meal at Mexican restaurants. This may have been the best I've ever had. The flavoring they used on the meat was wonderfully delicious. One complaint - personal taste, really - are the chips. They are the thin style that to me are like paper. This Is A Vegetarian ReviewExcellent Mexican restaurant! The food was delicious, the staff super friendly, and the ambiance delightful. The complimentary salsa was absolutely delicious, as was the queso! The filling in my wife's veggie chimichanga was more flavorful than veggie filling is at most places. I got the cheese and potato tacos and a side of rice and beans and there was flavor everywhere! Highly recommended if you're craving good Mexican in the DMV.
