Starbucks in Arlington

“Long story short I had a rough morning and then ordered at the wrong Starbucks and the amount of care and hospitality shown from the team working 12.19 afternoon handled with grace and genuinely made my day better, I should have asked their names to shout them out, will absolutely be back to this location“

“I have been there many times, and they generally do a good job. Sometime recently they installed combination locks on the bathroom doors. When I asked for the combination, the barista asked if I was picking up a drink. I said I'd order after I went to restroom since I had to go. He would not give me the code. I understand the intent, but the execution is a bit off. I've never had a restaurant deny me a restroom code before ordering. Recommend review that policy. I went straight to Tatte, to the bathroom (code is on the door), and then ordered from Tatte. I'm ovrer 60, and my bladder's limits aren't what they use to be.“

“Loved the vibes here! Wasn’t expecting the military energy (I don’t live in the area) but pair that with a clean place, all friendly staff, and knowledgeable baristas that are happy to be there serving you… it was pleasant drop-in on a beautiful Easter morning. This +20yrs USCG and USAF family is grateful.“

“I love the (fairly) new drive-thru Starbucks on Lee Highway. I always order via the app and pick up in the drive-thru. The employees are fabulous - friendly, attentive and helpful. I have rarely had any mistakes on my order, but the few times I have the employee quickly and cheerfully apologized and corrected the order.The most impressive thing about this very busy location is how the inconveniently laid out parking lot is striped in lanes - one for drive-thru customers and one that passes alongside it so customers who need to park can still easily enter and exit one of the two parking areas. It all runs very smoothly provided the cars in line don't block the parking areas, which most people are conscientious about avoiding.“

“My local Starbucks at 5515 Langston Blvd. in Arlington VA is top-notch. Every barista treats you with such kindness and friendliness, always going out of their way. I’ve even had baristas hand-deliver my order when I’m sitting at the table. I go almost every day for a treat and I just love the atmosphere. One of the best Starbucks and best baristas you’ll find!“

“This is now the second time this store has been remodeled, and it looks fantastic. I had the opportunity to talk to the red haired barista about the remodel and he was very talkative & kind. All of the barista's at this location are always welcoming & happy, you can tell they get along with the customers and amongst themselves, by far one of the best vibes as far as coffee shops go in Arlington.“

“Kudos to the two ladies working today during the online ordering outage. They rocked and facilitated things exceptionally. You should allow workers at this location to receive tips, I will never understand the line of reasoning for this not to be a thing.“

“This Starbucks takes me back because I grew up around here. I’ve gone many many times and never had a bad experience. Every drink is made perfectly and if I needed less ice everyone so far has been happy to help. Sometimes I see homeless people but they aren’t ever aggressive.“

It was so cute how they put an apple sticker on my drink lid - I've never seen that at other Starbucks and while not necessary, it made me smile.“

“Shout out to Ebony! This morning, I witnessed her maintaining her cool with a super awful customer (which is very hard to do oftentimes in customer service jobs - I speak from years of experience). This customer asked for a box of coffee; Ebony said it would take about 10 minutes to brew that particular type. The man told her he had to get to work and told her to "do her best." Ebony (very kindly) suggested he go to the Starbucks across the street to see if they had some already made. This man was extremely rude to her and demanded a refund. Despite all of this, Ebony and her coworker very swiftly and kindly continued to serve customers. Dealing with a nonstop line of customers while making things to order is so stressful, and I've always enjoyed my interactions with the staff at this location. I highly recommend it.“

“Had coffee here everyday during the stay at the hotel, they make great coffees, and people work there are extremely nice! The reason I say that because today after I checked out the hotel, I sat at the corner reading on my iPad for hours while waiting for my husband to go get our rental car. I did not know this Starbucks closes at 1pm on Saturdays, and people worked there were so nice they never came to bother me even I was the one there to bring inconvenience to them to close their shop on time. Thanks again, you are all so very sweet and nice!👏🏻👏🏻“

“My rating is primarily for speed. Starbucks is the same everywhere you go and this spot isn’t any different when it comes to their menu items. But the staff here work at lightning speed and so efficiently too. They communicate, everyone clearly has their zones or roles. Makes ordering and pickup easy and fast.“
