“I don’t usually go to a Starbucks and one of the reasons is the atmosphere and service never feels “warm.” I’ve been in management myself and know how rare it is to find a business, let alone a Starbucks, that operates so professionally and where literally EVERY employee is one of the kindest/professional people.
The customer service here was incredible and, from a business side, I can see that the branch is being run very, very well. My friend and I were there for almost three hours and the food/coffees we got were very well-made, the facility was clean and welcoming, and best of all, the employees were some of the best I’ve met in a very long while. I can tell this location as a very good GM. Definitely coming back here and recommending.“
“On an unusually hot day in May, Alex (the Assistant Manager at the Starbucks at 2315 Randolph Rd, Silver Spring, MD) went above and beyond. He was literally walking around to customers’ tables offering water and checking in to see if anyone needed anything. It didn’t feel performative at all. His kindness was genuine. The store was also spotless. Huge thanks to Alex and the team for making the space feel well cared for.“
“Met a high school senior who’s applying to my college for an alumni interview: the staff were exceptionally friendly, which set a great atmosphere for the interview. When full, this place gets a bit loud, but most of the time it was only about 1/2-full. We had privacy and were left alone to talk for nearly three hours.“
“I absolutely love this Starbucks location inside Safeway. It’s a bit of a shame that they don’t participate in the main Starbucks rewards program, but they do partner with Safeway’s program, which I’m also a member of. I collect points and sometimes get groceries, and other times I score coffee at a great discount thanks to Safeway’s deals.
Overall, I really enjoy coming here.Whenever I order, there’s usually one super sweet girl working (unfortunately, I don’t know her name), but she always makes amazing drinks. She’s generous with ingredients, ensures everything is top quality, and prepares it all very quickly. Even when it’s busy, she never compromises on the quality or speed of service. Speaking of crowds, if it’s too packed, I usually skip it and come back later when it’s quieter, and then I get to fully enjoy my delicious drink, made perfectly every time.
The place seems clean and well-maintained—at least from what I can see. I hope it’s as spotless as it looks! Everything seems to be running smoothly there.
The downside is that they don’t offer the usual Starbucks discounts, and there aren’t any tables to sit at or wait because it’s inside Safeway and functions more like a quick grab-and-go spot. But as a fast, mobile coffee stop, it’s perfect.
I’ve always had pleasant and polite service here, and that makes me keep coming back.“
“The staff at this Starbucks are so amazing and an example of how great service can be. I'm not a regular, but I am always impressed when I am standing there how many people are and their connection with staff.
But I'm writing this review because, recently, I was driving around my sick baby. I had been up for hours (even though it was 7am) and needed to eat. I ordered from here, and then of course when we got here my baby had finally fallen asleep. I didn't know what to do, so on an impulse (knowing how kind I have seen the manager and staff being to regulars) I parked outside and called to ask if someone could bring out my order, apologizing of course because they don't have curbside pickup. Sure enough, the manager brought out my order and my baby got to sleep.

“I was craving Starbucks and happened to be close to Starbucks Coffee in Burnt Mills. I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE! I was greater by the team as soon as I opened the door and my drink was made to perfection! It was so good that I wanted to go back and order a second one for the road. Caitlyn took my order and was very pleasant! I enjoyed chatting with her. Karel made my drink and made it SO WELL that I felt like he knew me. Because if Caitlyn and Karel, I will be a return customer of this location. Thanks so much to both of them for making my Starbucks experience one of the best yet! “Starbucks does everything well, except those boxes of coffee, which, when ordered, are never done on time. Their one mystery. Oh, that and running out of the little green stoppers.....Otherwise, they're the best coffee company in the world....“

“Just wanted to give a special shoutout for the excellent service provided by one of the barista’s Loic when I went into this location last week. I’d had a rough day and stopped in for coffee and to read a bit before an appointment. He was very patient as I took some time to decide on a drink and prepared it correctly and very quickly once I finally made a decision. You never know when something as simple as a good customer service interaction will be enough to brighten someone’s day, so just wanted to thank Loic for a lovely customer service that made me smile.“
“I placed an online order and it was taking a little longer than expected, but everyone kept checking on me and keeping me updated, which I appreciated.
When I got my drink, I thought it may have been made with the wrong milk. Sahara noticed I was looking at it and asked what was wrong before I even said anything. She confirmed it was incorrect and quickly remade it for me.

“This was a very good visit due to the man that waited on me. He was very professional, kind and smart. I got an iced coffee with sugar free vanilla, delicious! I also go the chocolate pistachio bread and banana walnut bread and they were both wonderful! This is a small Starbucks so there wasn't any place to sit due to the 5 people that were seated.“
