“Great beer garden for the fall with actually good food. One thing that I especially appreciate is that they work to keep people cool in any heat. Seating can be tight so be prepared to stand with your beer or get there early to claim a table if it's a nice day.“

“I had a fantastic experience during my visit! Upon arrival, Jordan greeted us warmly and filled us in on the Sunday promotions. When we approached the bar, Lily was our bartender, and she was incredibly friendly. She made my fiancé a delicious absolute soda that he loved. The service throughout our visit was impeccable, and everyone we encountered was exceptionally welcoming. I highly recommend this place, especially on a beautiful day!“

“I cannot write enough superlatives about my experience at The Garden. I hosted my wife's surprise birthday party there, and from the very early planning stages, the ownership and the staff made me feel comfortable knowing that every little detail would be taken care of. From reserving the space, the food, the beverages, the cupcakes (OMG, the cupcakes!) and the service, everything was absolutely phenomenal! My wife was surprised, my guests (~40 of them) loved the venue, and I was able to actually enjoy the party and not worry about a single thing! Oh, and I should mention that the value far exceeded the cost; especially in comparison to the other venues I considered. Thank you, The Garden staff!“

“Bartender on the roof with the red hair is the worst bartender I’ve ever encountered. She gave us countless dirty looks and had a major attitude problem. She yelled “HUHHHHH” at us when we tried to order. Got so fed up with her that we left the rooftop which was amazing btw, minus RBF. The food, atmosphere, and bartenders downstairs were great!“

“For some reason we were skeptical about returning to the premises after the experience we had under the previous owners. It was a massive mistake - my wife and I thought we would 'give it a try' and I am kicking myself for all the times we drove into DC from Silver Spring looking for a fun place to eat! From the moment we met Aidan Rinehart the GM, until we received and paid the check, we were blown away by the vibey atmosphere, the speed of delivery and the great tasting and well presented food. Alyssa, our server, deserves a special mention for her knowledge of the products, her attentive but unobtrusive service and exceptional friendliness. She is an absolute asset to Zinnia and we hope that she'll be there for as long as we patronise ZInnia, and it is well worth patronising. We look forward to trying the dinner menu, but we will definitely be back for a repeat 'Tavern' experience as well Compliments to the owner, GM, chef and staff - see you all again soon!“
