“Super chill spot, I was able to go with my dog and we had no issues getting served, they even had water bowls for her! When I went it wasn't overly crowded so plenty of room and my dog did not freak out. Definitely would recommend, especially if you want to bring your dog with you!“
“We had a fun time playing bachi ball and hanging out on the patio. They have a lot out outdoor seating but there are no umbrellas and only a couple tables inside so don't come if it's raining. There's a pretty good selection of beer and a few slushi style drinks too. The service is great but keep in mind they automatically add 20% to your tab.“
“Nice cozy place with delicious fold. I had the chicken heart appetizer and the Northern Noodles as main course. My wife had the Crispy Chicken. The noodles were probably the most flavorful curry Ive had in a long time, I just wish there was a tiny bit more noodles and protein, but it was great either way. “No frills hipster-ish beer garden I've been coming to for over a decade. Dog friendly and lots of picnic benches to share with strangers, which is fun. Their food is so unbelievably good-I recommend this place to anyone and everyone; it's one of my favorite spots in DC. I usually get the corn (it's gotten pricey), pulled pork or cubano and it's always delicious.While I will continue to come back, the place really needs some TLC; especially the bathrooms.Anyways, come here, you'll love it.. maybe wait to go to the bathroom some place else“
“I have been to Dacha several times and the servers and bartenders have always been great! But our recent server Feyzi really did an amazing job! He was super attentive, helpful, and full of positive energy. He made sure to get my order correct. I have a dairy allergy which makes it difficult to eat outside the house but he was able to recommend the best dishes for me. Highly recommend Dacha for great food and top service!“

“The food was excellent! The pretzels with beer cheese app was gone in like 5 seconds! I enjoyed the lamb pot pie and my daughter enjoyed the burger which was big and cooked exactly at the right temp ordered. Prices were also very decent. The inside space is cozy and furnished very nicely. Plenty of drink options and just an overall fun atmosphere. All of the staff were also very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.“

I hosted my wife's surprise birthday party there, and from the very early planning stages, the ownership and the staff made me feel comfortable knowing that every little detail would be taken care of. From reserving the space, the food, the beverages, the cupcakes (OMG, the cupcakes!) and the service, everything was absolutely phenomenal! My wife was surprised, my guests (~40 of them) loved the venue, and I was able to actually enjoy the party and not worry about a single thing! “Takoda is a great place to pregame or stop by mid day in dc. Lyndsey and Daniel took care of me at the bar and they were amazing. Their bar manager Pete, the head bar tender, came by later on to make sure I was okay with the service which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is great. Yasim the manager also came by to check on me. Nice music and good seating. The beer choices and fired pickles were amazing. If you get the chance, come to Takoda and see Lyndsey for sure.“
“We hosted a happy hour at the brig -- and had such a great time! Clifton was a breeze to work with; once we confirmed our event date, we paid a deposit that went straight to food orders day-of. We arrived a bit early and found that the tented area had been roped off as reserved--it was the perfect space for nearly 50 guests that came and went over the course of 3hrs. Food was delicious, bar as easy to mobile order from with options for every palate. We will definitely be back!“

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted warmly by a wonderful bubbly, blonde hostess. We had requested a table by the window to make our evening extra special, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring our view was picturesque. We felt super well taken care of.Our server, Sean, was super friendly. He guided us through the menu , offering recommendations and answering all of our questions.While the dishes we ordered were good, I must admit that the prices were a tad on the higher side. The slightly inflated prices did leave us feeling a bit hesitant to indulge in as much as we might have liked.“
“We had a blast here last night at trivia! It was five rounds of 11 questions and I loved how they covered many different topics. I also appreciated using a phone app to play, which definitely helped with hearing questions when the restaurant was packed and quite lively. For food, I got the blackened mahi-mahi and brussels sprouts. The mahi-mahi was scrumptious, tender and smoky from the grill. It was served over yummy cilantro rice and creamy/zesty lemon butter sauce. Needless to say, I wiped my plate clean! The brussels sprouts was also stellar - everything crispy in it from bacon to shallots to the actual brussel sprouts. It was served with bleu cheese, which rounded out the crispy heartiness with just the right amount of funk! We also sampled through a few of the delicious beers on tap from kolsches to sours. Service was prompt and great, too. What a fun time - hope to come back soon!“
