“It was good! Would definitely come back. It’s a little pricey but not crazy, for two people to each get 2 drinks, an entree, and split an appetizer it was around $120. Service was good and very responsive. Some other guests broke a glass while we were there and the servers were on it immediately cleaning it up. Our waiter was a little sassy but overall very nice.“

I hosted my wife's surprise birthday party there, and from the very early planning stages, the ownership and the staff made me feel comfortable knowing that every little detail would be taken care of. From reserving the space, the food, the beverages, the cupcakes (OMG, the cupcakes!) and the service, everything was absolutely phenomenal! My wife was surprised, my guests (~40 of them) loved the venue, and I was able to actually enjoy the party and not worry about a single thing! “Great beer garden for the fall with actually good food. One thing that I especially appreciate is that they work to keep people cool in any heat. Seating can be tight so be prepared to stand with your beer or get there early to claim a table if it's a nice day.“

“We used the private Hofbrau Room for a party. What a great venue! Food and drinks were great and the service outstanding. Carla was amazing to deal with, answering questions, adding special request food items to the menu and letting us decorate and make last minute changes. Highly recommend if you need a private party space.“

“Good atmosphere...outdoor beer garden with decent selection of draft and bottle/can beers . Seltzers for those not fond of beer. All kinds of seating and tvs for sports. We had the Birria tacos and quesadilla from Little Miner Taco which they delivered right to our table. Food was good but a but pricey. All in a decent spot to spend a Friday before the Savannah Bananas game.“

“For some reason we were skeptical about returning to the premises after the experience we had under the previous owners. It was a massive mistake - my wife and I thought we would 'give it a try' and I am kicking myself for all the times we drove into DC from Silver Spring looking for a fun place to eat! From the moment we met Aidan Rinehart the GM, until we received and paid the check, we were blown away by the vibey atmosphere, the speed of delivery and the great tasting and well presented food. Alyssa, our server, deserves a special mention for her knowledge of the products, her attentive but unobtrusive service and exceptional friendliness. She is an absolute asset to Zinnia and we hope that she'll be there for as long as we patronise ZInnia, and it is well worth patronising. We look forward to trying the dinner menu, but we will definitely be back for a repeat 'Tavern' experience as well Compliments to the owner, GM, chef and staff - see you all again soon!“

“Best shrimp tacos ever! I ate there twice in the 18 hours I was in DC, but it was packed and loud Saturday at 6 pm and very quiet at noon on Sunday, so pick your time based on what atmosphere you like better.“
