Very slow on an early Sunday afternoon. Only two other patrons in the bar area so needless to say, I had full attention of the bartender so service was excellent in serving the one beer I had. In my opinion, the beer is pretty pricey but maybe this is DC. But when local beers are $8 (25% less), one really needs to enjoy German beers. And there is a respectable list of taps.The atmosphere doesn't really say "Bier Halle" but seems more like a late night booze club with live music....read full review
Enjoyed this spot for an after work Happy Hour. From what I could tell they have two areas, upstairs and downstairs, so they were able to accommodate a large group of 15+ without any issues. Decent food options alongside the typical bar fare. The pretzels 'by the pound' were amazing served with four dips - cheese plus sweet and savory.

Speaking more to the dance vibe: Thursday has a mainly Bachata scene, but love that there's a salsa option upstairs too (along with more clubish music on the 3rd dance floor as well). Had a great time and would come again! Beer a bit on the pricier side though.
