“We had a fantastic dinner at Prost tonight and it was the perfect way to kick off Oktoberfest season. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with candlelit tables, exposed brick and just the right amount of Bavarian flair. The food was excellent: the sandwiches on those soft, salty pretzel buns were packed with flavor and came out looking great. Save room for the apple strudel. It was flaky and loaded with tender apples, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a generous swirl of fresh whipped cream. Easily one of the best desserts we've had in a while.
A big shoutout to our server Drew, who made the night even better. He was friendly, attentive and genuinely fun to talk with, and he made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. Great service like that is what keeps us coming back.

“The food is authentic and good quality. We enjoy the imported beers and menu items that aren’t easy to find in the states. The chef’s special was a great value. We had an appetizer, entrees, beers, coffee and shared a dessert for two people for under $120+ tip. The atmosphere does feel like you’re stepping into “old Europe” which we loved. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. We will come back in the future.“

“Good place overall but they do run the risk of simply being a pub/college bar vs actually being a Beirhall. The food menu needs to incorporate more German elements and considerably more seating is required to capture the bierhall theme. Too much of the business is a standing bar. Now to be clear thats fine and I'll still go but there is a big difference between a true bierhall and a Balston yuppy bar.“

“My husband and I drove down from Loudoun county. This place was absolutely amazing. It had so much to remind us of my husbands home. We got a sandwich and than of course some haribo candy. Also some German goodies of meat. We will definitely be back again.“
