El Rey Navy Yard Reviews
Went for Taco Tuesday and got 3 tacos for $12 – loved the birria and fish tacos, but the mushroom tacos can be skipped. Good causal spot, and more affordable that some other taco spots on Tuesday.
Place is super nice waterfornt bartenders 5stars the little problem is their food runner a little bit not helpful it looks he is there just to make money not to help he dont know about modal and hospitality he was kind of rude at some way he did not say anything bad but his way of talking was all...Somebody shpukd pay morea attention to this is not the place sometimes are people.....It was on June 2 Tuesday.....
Nice chill spot. I wanted food food lol but they mostly had appetizers style. Not bad cuz you always want something to munch on while drinking. Margueritas were good and strong. Price is affordable. The wind blowing in this steamy weather was cherry on top. We sat outside. I really enjoyed the moment while watching the world cup.

El Rey Navy Yard is a popular waterfront spot known for its relaxed atmosphere and good vibes. It offers a mix of outdoor patio seating and an indoor bar with pool tables and music. The restaurant is especially appreciated for its affordable prices and tasty drinks, including strong margaritas. On Taco Tuesday, customers enjoy three tacos for $12, with birria and fish tacos being favorites, although the mushroom tacos are less recommended. Visitors often find the food to be good, with some mentioning that it’s mostly appetizers, making it a nice place to munch while drinking. The service is generally friendly and attentive, with staff like Jordan receiving praise for their hospitality. The place also stands out for its location in DC’s Navy Yard, providing a genuine experience compared to other Capitol riverfront bars. Despite occasional minor issues, such as a less helpful food runner, El Rey Navy Yard remains a chill, enjoyable spot for good food, drinks, and good times by the water.
