“We stopped at Jack’s Place in Old Town for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was great, the service was friendly, and then they really won me over. I asked if they could make me a spicy chicken sub to take with me for later—and OMG. Best sub ever. Seriously. It was spicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

I love a place that does the classics well but is also willing to make you something a little different. Great breakfast, awesome people, and apparently they make a killer spicy chicken sub too. 😂

“I’ve dined here many times and it is one of my favorite food places. Absolutely amazing sushi everything tastes so fresh and I especially love the miso soup it’s just perfect. The service is great and the workers are very friendly, and the interior looks pretty nice. The smoothies taste really good I especially like the mango tango and their deli sandwiches are good too, I recommend the steak and cheese sandwich.“

I often get nervous allowed my daughter to use public restrooms, but this one was very clean and Kia stood at the door while I went in to assit my daughter to clean herself and get dress. “This place reminds me of home. The food, service and atmosphere is always amazing. I tried the food once on Uber Eats and loved it. I now come regularly to get breakfast and it’s a little like “Cheers” everyone knows my name, everyone knows my order. “One of the best bagels I’ve ever had. Most definitely would reccomend. I had an everything bagel toasted and was only $2.75. There is also free water there and honey, etc. Nice atmosphere with a window to see the cats at the next door cat cafe. Prettt aesthetic seating location and many options that are very reasonably priced.“

“Meaza was absolutely terrific! She made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Her warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness made our entire dining experience exceptional.

She is truly one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. She anticipated our needs, checked on us at just the right times, and made us feel like valued guests throughout the meal.

Outstanding customer service like hers is rare. She is a tremendous asset to your restaurant and someone who should absolutely be training other staff members.

“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.

The owners are the best of best. Always welcoming and friendly.“

“I’ve been to Grass Fed Griddle twice now, and honestly it feels like a hidden gem. I’m always looking for a good quick breakfast sandwich, and this spot really delivers. The sandwich was really good and I especially loved the peppers.

My only complaint is the add on pricing. Mushrooms cost 3 dollars while tomatoes are 1.50, and I don’t understand why they cannot be priced the same since I love mushrooms.

I also like that they offer pure pressed juices, which is a nice bonus. Overall I enjoy coming here and will be back.

“Metroplace Cafe in Vienna is one of those under-the-radar spots that delivers. When I say under-the-radar, I mean it. I have lived in the area and commuted past this office building for 30 years and never knew it had a cafe. If it wasn't for the recommendation of a friend, I still wouldn't know about it.

It’s a no-frills deli that kinda reminds me of a school cafeteria but with a surprisingly wide menu and seriously good prices. They even have some Korean dishes. We tried the reuben, the cheesesteak, and the California chicken panini — all freshly made and really solid. Nothing fancy, just honest, tasty food.

What really sets the place apart is Ben, the owner. He’s incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell he cares about every customer who walks in. He also happens to specialize randomly in espresso drinks that would make James Hoffmann proud. Ben gave us latte, cappuccino, chai, espresso, and I forgot the rest to sample, all good. It’s rare to find that kind of coffee in a casual spot like this.

If you want something fresh, quick, and cheap, Metroplace Cafe is worth a visit.“

“I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a half smoke with cheese. The half smoke was ok but far from the best. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was good. Plenty of bacon. Parking isn’t the best but it’s manageable. You’ll find a spot in the street somewhere. They’re not wheelchair accessible.“

“This place is in the second floor of an office building, just so you know. If you feel like quick breakfast or lunch, and you don't want fast food, then this place is perfect. What makes it unique from other lunch cafe spots is the Korean bbq bowls. If I want a normal lunch sandwich, I'd just go to any nearby place. But if I feel like Korean food, I don't have to go to Annandale and pay $20 or so. I tried the spicy chicken bowl. It was not very spicy, maybe less than a mild chicken wing. I liked the flavor and would totally come back here for that. The sides that came with the bowl...I'd prefer more flavor. Which might make it more greasy or fatty, but oh well. I also tried the grilled chicken sandwich. I liked it, but you can get that anywhere. Service and staff 5/5 Very nice people, and good came quickly. Cleanliness 5/5 Food 4/5 I liked the chicken, but the sides were kinda...just there. Portions 3/5 Maybe I'm spoiled, but I wanted more. Also, the sign says 18% auto gratuity added for parties of 6 or more, but we were a party of 2 and they added it anyway. Overall, for the price, it was worth it.“
