“Been coming here for years and this is easily one of my favorite spots in the city. I love the people that work here and I love the pancakes (top 3 pancakes in DC). The prices are so good especially for this city. 2 people can easily leave full for well under $20. I really love the wood paneled walls, the simple menu up behind the counter and the wood booths. Unfortunately tiktok has blown this place up recently so it can be hard to get in on the weekends. Still an all timer!!“

“My favorite study spot and chai latte in DC!!! Youebe is one of those places that feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. The space is relaxed and welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. On top of that, the service has been consistently good every time I’ve visited (which is very often).
The drinks are well made across the board, and the chai latte is my personal favorite. Everyone I have brought here wants to come back. They also have juices made with the freshest ingredients possible. Great place to go if you’re looking for a study sesh, or to grab a coffee (and some good food) with friends.“

“We stop in because my daughter with special Down syndrome needed to use the bathroom really bad. Even though there was a no public bathroom policy, the young lady althat greeted us was very gracious and allowed her to use it. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. I decided to place an order
At this point Kia assisted me and she was very hospitable and welcoming. But what impressed me the most was the cleanliness of tje restaurant. I often get nervous allowed my daughter to use public restrooms, but this one was very clean and Kia stood at the door while I went in to assit my daughter to clean herself and get dress. A definite 10/10 experience. I'll be back!“

“The Chai is my latest obsession! Stopped in while visiting the White House and was blown away. The food was freshly prepared, hot and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely frequent this eatery if I lived locally. For now, I am ordering their Chai online.“

“We got bagel sandwiches. The service was quick, and they took about 5 minutes to make. They were super messy, but good. There is some seating upstairs and more downstairs but there’s only tables downstairs. Not even napkins which was annoying. The bagel was poorly cut which resulted in half of the bottom bagel being about an inch wide and 1/4 inch thick.“

“I’ve been to Grass Fed Griddle twice now, and honestly it feels like a hidden gem. I’m always looking for a good quick breakfast sandwich, and this spot really delivers. The sandwich was really good and I especially loved the peppers.

My only complaint is the add on pricing. Mushrooms cost 3 dollars while tomatoes are 1.50, and I don’t understand why they cannot be priced the same since I love mushrooms.

I also like that they offer pure pressed juices, which is a nice bonus. Overall I enjoy coming here and will be back.

You know it’s also in the food hall so there’s a ton of options around as well!“

The location is unbeatable (Whole Foods, dog park, Canal Park, Orange Theory, CVS...all within one block) and the cleanliness of the building is so nice. “I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a half smoke with cheese. The half smoke was ok but far from the best. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was good. Plenty of bacon. Parking isn’t the best but it’s manageable. You’ll find a spot in the street somewhere. They’re not wheelchair accessible.“

“For $25 at lunch, honestly, it was a great value! They had a made to order pasta bar, wine and beer, sandwiches, salad bar, soup, hot entree, and dessert bar. Yes, the options were limited but overall everything was good. The place was pretty empty, and there was no one at the front desk so we had to walk in and find someone to seat us. Also, the sign says 18% auto gratuity added for parties of 6 or more, but we were a party of 2 and they added it anyway. Overall, for the price, it was worth it.“

“We recently stayed at the Hamilton Hotel located right next door and enjoyed breakfast here on our first morning. The workers were making a catering order that consisted of sandwiches and our son asked about a sandwich. This was 7:30AM so I told him to order breakfast. The nice gentleman told my son he would make him a sandwich. They have fresh fruit and yogurt options as well which pleased our daughter. The breakfast bowls are filling and gave us energy for our 7 mile walking tour! The workers were very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely eat here again if we ever come back to D.C.“

“Visiting DC with my son and staying right next door at the Hamilton Hotel. We came for lunch yesterday and the food was so delicious—and the veggies super fresh—that we had to come back for breakfast today :). The space is clean and comfortable. They also have convenient grab-and-go options, which are perfect to pick up for a lunch break at the Smithsonian. Loved the free lemon water, too—a huge plus if you don't usually order drinks like me!“

“Very solid spot and a DC staple! I am a huge fan of their fried shrimp basket but this time I came by for breakfast and got their breakfast BLT (delicious) and pancakes I shared with my brother! Everyone that works there is so patient and the wait isn’t too bad. This spot is great when you want something quick, filling, and when you’re on a budget.
