“This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Washington DC. They only take cash and they don’t have ATM inside other than that. It’s been in business since 1963. The staff is great. The prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful.“

“My favorite study spot and chai latte in DC!!! Youebe is one of those places that feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. The space is relaxed and welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. On top of that, the service has been consistently good every time I’ve visited (which is very often).
The drinks are well made across the board, and the chai latte is my personal favorite. Everyone I have brought here wants to come back. They also have juices made with the freshest ingredients possible. Great place to go if you’re looking for a study sesh, or to grab a coffee (and some good food) with friends.“

At this point Kia assisted me and she was very hospitable and welcoming. But what impressed me the most was the cleanliness of tje restaurant. I often get nervous allowed my daughter to use public restrooms, but this one was very clean and Kia stood at the door while I went in to assit my daughter to clean herself and get dress. “We stopped at Jack’s Place in Old Town for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was great, the service was friendly, and then they really won me over. I asked if they could make me a spicy chicken sub to take with me for later—and OMG. Best sub ever. Seriously. It was spicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

I love a place that does the classics well but is also willing to make you something a little different. Great breakfast, awesome people, and apparently they make a killer spicy chicken sub too. 😂

Our only issue on this day was that either there wasn't a full staff or people aren't being managed properly. The young lady who took our names at the door was also ringing up the customers who were leaving and showing people to their seats as tables became available. She was also walking the floor to determine when tables were coming available. That was a bit chaotic for people coming in and wondering who to see, or where to go to get r their name on the list.

I placed my order online and it was done 5 minutes later even though the website said 15 minutes. I also got a matcha with almond milk and honey but it tasted somewhat peanut buttery for some reason so I wouldn’t recommend getting almond milk, but the matcha was still good enough. $22 for a bagel and coffee is a lot in my opinion, but I would get the bagel again“

“I’ve been to Grass Fed Griddle twice now, and honestly it feels like a hidden gem. I’m always looking for a good quick breakfast sandwich, and this spot really delivers. The sandwich was really good and I especially loved the peppers.

My only complaint is the add on pricing. Mushrooms cost 3 dollars while tomatoes are 1.50, and I don’t understand why they cannot be priced the same since I love mushrooms.

I also like that they offer pure pressed juices, which is a nice bonus. Overall I enjoy coming here and will be back.

Plenty of bacon. Parking isn’t the best but it’s manageable. You’ll find a spot in the street somewhere. They’re not wheelchair accessible.“

I instantly thought, "We will be completely protected inside if there is a riot between the police and gangs outside." I discovered that you need to be buzzed in by the owner to enter the restaurant as I was reaching to open the entrance.“

“For $25 at lunch, honestly, it was a great value! They had a made to order pasta bar, wine and beer, sandwiches, salad bar, soup, hot entree, and dessert bar. Yes, the options were limited but overall everything was good. The place was pretty empty, and there was no one at the front desk so we had to walk in and find someone to seat us. Also, the sign says 18% auto gratuity added for parties of 6 or more, but we were a party of 2 and they added it anyway. Overall, for the price, it was worth it.“

“We recently stayed at the Hamilton Hotel located right next door and enjoyed breakfast here on our first morning. The workers were making a catering order that consisted of sandwiches and our son asked about a sandwich. This was 7:30AM so I told him to order breakfast. The nice gentleman told my son he would make him a sandwich. They have fresh fruit and yogurt options as well which pleased our daughter. The breakfast bowls are filling and gave us energy for our 7 mile walking tour! The workers were very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely eat here again if we ever come back to D.C.“

The service and food was also fantastic. Doug was training Dwayne and it became obvious why Doug is the Head Server. “On 12 Dec, I visited the IHOP O'Donnell drive in forestville Maryland, this was the first time that I have experienced such poor service. I placed my order with the waitress Joybeth: a brown crispy waffle with the butter melted on the side, a Salisbury steak with onions and mushrooms in gravy and a cup of featured cocoa. I asked that my food and drink be bored out all at the same time. That did not happen... I first received a waffle that was not full and wasn't completed with butter cold on top, then I had to wait another 10 minutes for the Salisbury steak. So by the time my food came the waffle was cold I sent it back. When I finally got all my food I still had not received my beverage. I watched this young lady go to other tables... one guy asked for butter and he got it just like that. Another one asked for napkins, they got the napkins just like that, so I'm still waiting on my cocoa to go with my food. By the time I started eating the steak was cold. I left a dollar tip. Worst service I ever had in my years going to IHOP“
