“Wow. Incredibly impressed with this place. The coffee tasted amazing. The latte was fantastic (get the vanilla cream) with a perfect amount of foam on top. The Nutella acma and the egg sandwich were a perfect start to the day. And everything reasonably priced. Better than reasonable- I haven’t seen a $5 breakfast sandwich in years. And a flavored latte under $5 is almost unheard of. Bathroom was clean. This place was great and I can’t wait to go back.“

“Great cafe! They serve a good amount of food for a reasonable price. My wife and I stopped by for breakfast and had pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Cafe was clean and modern. Don't expect a dine-in restaurant. This is a your typical cafe that serves local offices. They have plenty of seating inside and outside the cafe, however. We sat outside and enjoyed breakfast during a nice quiet morning.“

“I’ve dined here many times and it is one of my favorite food places. Absolutely amazing sushi everything tastes so fresh and I especially love the miso soup it’s just perfect. The service is great and the workers are very friendly, and the interior looks pretty nice. The smoothies taste really good I especially like the mango tango and their deli sandwiches are good too, I recommend the steak and cheese sandwich.“

“The food is so good! I’m visiting from NYC and I found this place in a Google search. I didn’t expect it to be this packed, especially on the 4th of July. It was so good that I ordered food to go. Coming from NYC, the amount of food I got for the price was more than I expected. I got the Trifecta and the waffle was huge- it was the side! The coffee was so good and tasted fresh. I wish I could come here again.“

Went for brunch on a Sunday morning, and it was very crowded, but that was very predictable and didn't detect from an otherwise pleasant experience.

- The food (pancakes, bacon, and coffee) was good, not great.
- The service was good, not great.
- The atmosphere was nice, for a Sunday morning.

I took one star off for being unnecessarily bougie, but gave an extra for being surprisingly inexpensive.“

“The food was satisfying. There was a significant service issue (they forgot about us after seating). Another server, David, recognized the problem and picked up our table. Kudos to David for identifying and solving the problem! IHOP needs to recognize David for going above and beyond! He truly cares about customers! Thank you, David!“

“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.

“I've been coming here since 2021, and something has definitely changed recently.

The only way I can describe it is that the bagels seem to have lost their soul.

They used to be crisp on the outside, airy on the inside, and just imperfect enough in size and shape to feel genuinely handmade. Those little variations were part of their charm.

Now, they taste more processed and mass-produced. Every bagel looks and tastes exactly the same, which reminds me more of a chain sandwich shop than the distinctive bagels that originally made me a loyal customer.

The service is still excellent, the store remains welcoming, and I even like the newer logo.

But I genuinely miss the old-style bagels. If possible, I'd love to see a return to the baking approach that made them stand out in the first place.“

The place was extremely clean, the service was very fast, and the food quality was honestly outstanding. You can truly taste that they use high-quality and fresh ingredients — nothing felt cheap or processed. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly.
What impressed me the most is that despite the premium quality, the prices were actually very reasonable. Definitely worth visiting again and highly recommended for breakfast lovers.“

“Very busy location serving a demanding group of customers per my perception as a regular customer, and the staff always trying to do their best. Kudos to them!!!“

“Metroplace Cafe in Vienna is one of those under-the-radar spots that delivers. When I say under-the-radar, I mean it. I have lived in the area and commuted past this office building for 30 years and never knew it had a cafe. If it wasn't for the recommendation of a friend, I still wouldn't know about it.

It’s a no-frills deli that kinda reminds me of a school cafeteria but with a surprisingly wide menu and seriously good prices. They even have some Korean dishes. We tried the reuben, the cheesesteak, and the California chicken panini — all freshly made and really solid. Nothing fancy, just honest, tasty food.

What really sets the place apart is Ben, the owner. He’s incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell he cares about every customer who walks in. He also happens to specialize randomly in espresso drinks that would make James Hoffmann proud. Ben gave us latte, cappuccino, chai, espresso, and I forgot the rest to sample, all good. It’s rare to find that kind of coffee in a casual spot like this.

If you want something fresh, quick, and cheap, Metroplace Cafe is worth a visit.“

“This place is in the second floor of an office building, just so you know. If you feel like quick breakfast or lunch, and you don't want fast food, then this place is perfect. What makes it unique from other lunch cafe spots is the Korean bbq bowls. If I want a normal lunch sandwich, I'd just go to any nearby place. But if I feel like Korean food, I don't have to go to Annandale and pay $20 or so. I tried the spicy chicken bowl. It was not very spicy, maybe less than a mild chicken wing. I liked the flavor and would totally come back here for that. The sides that came with the bowl...I'd prefer more flavor. Which might make it more greasy or fatty, but oh well. I also tried the grilled chicken sandwich. I liked it, but you can get that anywhere. Service and staff 5/5 Very nice people, and good came quickly. Cleanliness 5/5 Food 4/5 I liked the chicken, but the sides were kinda...just there. Portions 3/5 Maybe I'm spoiled, but I wanted more. Price 5/5 You can get a bbq bowl with sides or a sandwich and side for less than $10. For the area, that's pretty good.“

“I've only done the hot bar/salad bar here and not MTO. Everything always seems very fresh, there's a great variety. The cashiers are super quick. Drink selection is huge (fountain and bottled drinks). Great option if you're super hungry or just need a little snack since the bars are by weight.“
