“A good breakfast place in Manassas.IHOP, or the International House of Pancakes, is a breakfast chain that has become a staple for pancake lovers across the United States. The first IHOP restaurant opened its doors in Toluca Lake, California, in 1958, and since then, it has become synonymous with a wide variety of breakfast options. A typical IHOP restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere, a signature blue roof, and a menu featuring an extensive array of pancakes, waffles, omelets, and other breakfast choices. Their all-day breakfast concept allows patrons to enjoy their favorite breakfast items at any time. As of January 2022, IHOP had over 1,600 restaurants in the United States. I found this typical of most other restaurants of this chain I have visited. We were greeted at the door and taken to a table. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I ordered French toast. It came out quickly and was delicious. This particular location did not have their signature syrup choices on the table which seemed odd but overall it was a good meal at a reasonable price. I would recommend this to other travelers in the area wanting a good meal.“

“A fine if small bakery tucked into the back of a strip mall, the Fairfax Bakery brings Turkish inspired foods and pastries to the area. Their pastries, of which we have sampled a number, are excellent as are their breakfast sandwiches. The Turkish breakfast platter is a Mediterranean adventure as is the baraq (sp?), something like a filled bagel. Their Turkish bagels are a real treat, and for those who like sweet coffee so is theTurkish coffee. Go early in the day for take out pastries as by lunchtime they are often sold out. Recommended for take out and for a quick breakfast in the small sitting area. Pleasant service.“

“A refreshing experience in NoVa, there are plenty of these kinds of places, they're just hard to find. Upon finding it, I was not disappointed after having had my interest piqued upon reading earlier reviews.I walked in around 10:30 am on a Monday, I was the only one there, other than the lady at the front who was waiting there for someone to walk in. In I walked, and I was promptly addressed, very friendly and accomodating! The burrito was fantastic, excellent flavor of the Pico and bacon, held together with the egg and cheese, hash browns cooked to a nice crispy texture. And to top it all off, the hot sauce sealed the deal. ?Perhaps the place could use a little lightening up perhaps, (the blinds were down, or maybe some more art on the walls, felt somewhat cateteria-esque yet homey and welcoming at the same time. The burrito was fantastic, excellent flavor of the Pico and bacon, held together with the egg and cheese, hash browns cooked to a nice crispy texture. And to top it all off, the hot sauce sealed the deal. ?Will definitely be back to try some more sandwiches!Parking: 10 am on a Monday, tons of space.“

“This place gets very busy but we were lucky enough to go with minimal wait (Saturday at 9:15 am). About 5 minutes later, there was a long line with a half hour wait time. We know because we were seated right behind the cashier/front counter and we could hear the conversations at the front, though we would have preferred not to. It was no big deal because their service was great. Our server was attentive and gave us great recommendations since this was our first time dining here.We ordered the avocado toast, traditional breakfast, million dollar bacon, and coffee. My husband really wanted his home style potatoes crispy, well done- almost burnt. I know it’s an unusual request (or not) but his potatoes were prepared as usual, not burnt. We didn’t ask for them to re-cook it or anything because it wasn’t life or death. lol The avocado toast with eggs was delicious and so was the million dollar bacon. The coffee could definitely be better as it has more of a sour note than anything. They probably use robusta beans. One thing is for sure, we left First Watch feeling full. We had to walk around the shopping plaza just to give our body a helping hand digesting the yummy food. There’s plenty of free parking because it is located in a shopping plaza. There are even free EV charging stations in the parking lot- you just have to be lucky enough to find an empty spot. All in all, I would go back to First Watch for breakfast or brunch especially with my friends for a girl’s day out.Parking: Parking - shopping plaza. Free EV charging stations spread out.Kid-friendliness: Lots of parent with kids there. Very kid-friendly.“
