Young's Carry Out Reviews
Visited here for takeout ordered the reuben sandwich on rye bread and onion rings both were delicious and very favorable staff is very friendly great lunch
I usually go to Ritchie Deli for breakfast, since they were closed I decided to give Youngs a try. Nope....I ordered a scrapple platter. Eggs w/cheese (dry) scrapple was ok, and the fried potatoes looked like old potatoes (when they turn brown). This was the worse breakfast Ive ever had. Not to mention it was $15. I dont mind paying for food, but at least let it be worth eating.
If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, delicious breakfast or lunch, let me put you on to Young’s Carryout 👏🏾
This spot is one of the best little hole-in-the-wall gems you’ll find. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and baby… it shows. The French toast? 🔥 The bacon? Perfect. The salmon cakes? Don’t even get me started. And the grits are EVERYTHING.

Young's Carry Out is a hidden gem with amazing food. The French toast is a standout, rated 10/10 by customers. The shrimp and grits combo is delicious, with some of the best grits in the area. The shrimp is tasty, and the turkey sausage on a croissant is also delicious. The restaurant offers a good amount of parking in a shopping lot. The bacon, chicken, waffles, and French toast are all delicious, making it a great spot for brunch. They have real pancakes, not little frozen discs. Staff are helpful and welcoming, with top-tier customer service. It’s a humble hole-in-the-wall that serves delicious food for decent prices, and you never leave disappointed. Small businesses like this deserve support.
