The owner personally greeted our table and gave us some helpful advice for navigating the city. If we ever find ourselves in MD again we will definitely be back!! The first thing we noticed as we got closer to the entrance was that all of the windows in this property had steel bars covering them. I instantly thought, "We will be completely protected inside if there is a riot between the police and gangs outside." I discovered that you need to be buzzed in by the owner to enter the restaurant as I was reaching to open the entrance.“

“Wow. What a treat! Reasonably priced carry-out breakfast and lunch kitchen near the Navy Yard. No indoor or outdoor seating. Portions were large. Food was delicious. We tried pancakes, French toast, waffles and bacon breakfast sandwiches over several days and were never disappointed. I heard from other patrons that the fish sub was also great, but didn't get a chance to try it. Closed on Sunday. We tried some other places nearby, and none of them compared. Thanks ladies!!“
