We had a fantastic dining experience at Illinois Porto! Our server, Diego, was incredibly professional and courteous. He guided our meal with an expert menu review, which improved the experience. We had our wedding reception in the upstairs space of IlPorto. I worked with Manfredy Lopez to reserve the space, select our menu, and determine costs. The day of the reception, his team took charge and managed our crowd of 50+ guests. The food was served fresh and hot!! Our guests expressed it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The service and atmosphere were on point but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the seafood risotto, the risotto was crunchy and the shrimp was heavily chlorinated. The bread and scallops were great but did not carry the show. The meal itself was $50 and I would have expected a lot more for the price. This place is extremely mediocre for what it offered.
