Best food in DC. Great atmosphere and exceptional service
ambience and service were great. i should have stuck to french classics. i got the ravioli off the summer prefixed menu and my review on that is 2.5. also escargot was more spinach forward not garlic for my taste. our server was great and actually spoke french
Great food, atmosphere a bit loud and they need better ventilation I left out smelling like cooked food unfortunately

Based on the reviews, Amélie DC Bistro & Wine Bar is a wonderful French bistro experience. The food is phenomenal, and everything ordered was delicious. Specific meals mentioned include the Baked Camembert, Salada Amelie, Chicken (10/10), Raviolie- Truffle, Burger, Steak Frites, daily catch, rockfish, escargot, cauliflower, beef tartare, octopus, onion soup, and mussels. Don't miss desserts like the Vanilla Creme Brulee, Apple Tart, hazelnut Gelato, and hazelnut profiteroles. The wine selection is excellent. Service was warm and attentive, with staff knowledgeable about the menu and dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is cozy with lively but not distracting conversation.
