We had a wonderful dinner at L'Avant-Garde in Georgetown tonight. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with every course feeling thoughtful and well executed.

My husband and I had a double date with another couple at L'Avant-Garde, and had the most fabulous evening. I had let the team know it was a special occasion, and we were treated to a glass of champagne as we sat down. The food was excellent - and the kitchen accommodated both a gluten intolerance and a garlic allergy with smiles and understanding. The atmosphere was chic, the restaurant was not too loud, and the evening was just perfect! We will definitely be going back!
The dishes are prepared fresh and every course tastes scrumptious!!! It is one of my favorite French restaurants in DC!
