“Went last night for the soft opening and was very impressed from start to finish. The bartender, Chi, was personable and very attentive and we enjoyed various foods that were all top notch and some nice wine. Other staff who are coming and going were also very nice and you would never have known it was their first night. I worked in various aspects of the restaurant business for 15 years and have been to various soft openings, and these guys did a fantastic job. The owner Jay came by and chatted with us to make sure everything was going well and you can tell he really cares about everything. Pak Soii is a very welcome addition to Del Ray Alexandria and I can't wait to go back.“

“I felt the staff were courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was more fast food-y though and my dish was nothing more than mediocre. I got chicken and shrimp hibachi and it was just OK. I wouldn’t order it again because I was underwhelmed from the flavor and quality of ingredients. I will say however that the portions are massive so it’s a good deal for the price.“

“Love Hibachi! Kiddos always enjoy the show. Our chef was amazing. The portions were huge. We had to take home lots of leftovers. It wasn't very crowded. We arrived when they opened at 4:30pm. Got the steak and chicken. Everyone gets two shrimp for catching in your mouth, which is optional. I got to eat my littlest kid's shrimp. Food was delicious. You won't be disappointed.“

Absolutely understood why it's their favorite restaurant: perfect food, perfect service - the owner himself was there helping us order food that each member family would love. “From online ordering customizations to pick up service was amazing and quick there’s plenty of parking. Staff was friendly. Establishment was clean. Food was great I ordered a bento box it was great sizing and portions food had flavor it tasted good husband ordered chicken and shrimp meal he was satisfied as well. Only down side was the wasabi it was more of a harder thicker paste we ate used to more whipped lighter consistency but that didn’t effect much of anything wish they would’ve given us soy sauce but overall amazing highly recommend“

“I had a really good experience here. I ordered California rolls and the food was fresh and tasted really good overall. Everything was prepared pretty quickly even though it seemed busy.

The staff was friendly which I appreciated. I had a small issue with my order since the cucumber was missing from the rolls but they handled it well when I reached out.

Overall it is a solid sushi place and I would come back again.“
