Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. “If you are looking for a place with great view and atmosphere, look no more. Moonraker is a nice spot in Wharf. The atmosphere is amazing with great cocktails options. The outdoor seatings are not too conjusted so that you dont have to worry about what others might hear of your business dealings.Food is good but not exceptional (not that i was there for), the drinks menu are seriously unique and i cant wait to go back to try the rest.“

Luckily, my bank caught it but I’m unsure if Hibachi Express is aware that their card system may be compromised. “4.5 stars (for the area) It's a shame that there are such terrible reviews for this spot. I don't know why people are expecting top notch sushi in Waldorf. You have to manage your expectations to the area it is located in. Their prices aren't as high as DC or northern VA sushi spots that specialize in sushi. Think of this as a place for no frills good sushi but not a fancy sushi specific restaurant. If you go with this reasonable expectation, you will not be disappointed. Also, there are so many other options other than sushi. They changed management in the last few months, so keep that in mind. They updated the interior, and it is much nicer. It's also a quaint spot that people mainly order takeout for from what I've seen in the many times we have been. The new service staff are friendly, but the miscommunication issue that some other reviews mentioned may be due to the language barrier. It seems that English is not the first language of the service staff, so that is probably the cause. If you want home-cooked Korean food vibes, this is the place. When I miss my mom's home cooking I go here! I believe this is a small, local owned business, so let's try to be kind and respectful in our reviews. We are all trying to make a living out here in this ridiculous economy.“

“This place really deserves 10 stars, the food was exceptional and the service was top notch! I have been to Michelin rated restaurants that cannot compete with this place. Me and my wife came here for a wedding anniversary dinner during our visit to the cherry blossom festival staying for an extended amount of time. The first server Maher and the second server Cassie both are super professional, went above and beyond, we never felt rushed. We never had a dull moment over dinner and we never felt pushed. Next time we are in DC we will be back here!“

“Me and a friend went to Nara-Ya for bottomless brunch and we really liked it. The food was good, I think we tried everything from the brunch menu! The view was amazing as we were seated by the window and you could see the water.I didn’t take pictures of the food but I would recommend the steak and eggs, the octopus dish (can’t remember the name) and the tofu skewers.“

Actually I was navigating to another restaurant but passed this one and decided what the heck , it looks busy, menu/prices are decent and google said it was decent. It was fine - we both got beef bento boxes - the meat was a bit tough but it was a LOT of food. Quality was decent. Our included California roll was fresh and tasty and service was prompt and friendly. And mostly importantly, it was nice and toasty inside lol“

“I watched a co-worker having what I referred to as "a food fantasy". They recommended this particular location for its service and food. My waze directed me to the location which is adjacent to the JCPENNEY parking lot in a strip with 2 other businesses.I arrived midday and was welcomed by a pleasant woman near the door. Within 5-10 minutes my meal was prepared which was a combo of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with veggies, noodles, green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce.The staff was very pleasant and appeared to work well together as a team. The portions were generous and I would definitely eat there again. After I got home I too had "a food fantasy". My vegetables were perfectly cooked, not hard or overcooked. The meats were tender, fresh and flavorable.I have since eaten at two other locations and have come back to this one for a new combo. This time I added steak and the next time I will add salmon which came highly recommended by many people.I would definitely recommend this location, the service and the food options.Parking: In front of the business are several parking spaces. The overflow lot of JCPENNEY is available as well.“
“I have been going to Extreme Teriyaki since they opened. They are consistent with their service and their food. Staff is friendly and they always make sure that your order is correct. The food is not only good, but always hot because it is cooked while you wait for it, and you can watch the cooks cooking it. I usually take mine home and by the time I get home it is still piping hot. The restaurant is clean. It has plenty of seating, but hardly anyone sits in there since Covid.“

I once again committed the cardinal Yelp sin (forgetting to take photos) but it was only because I was having such a great dining experience. The chef's performance at the hibachi grill was not only delicious but also an engaging show, enhancing the evening. The skilled chef's charismatic approach added flair to the preparation of our meal, and he was hilarious! From the kids to adults everyone had a great time!
