“I’ve been coming here for a while and I usually get the chicken and shrimp combo, which is always really good. Today, I did notice the chicken portion was a bit smaller than usual, but after speaking with the owner, I completely understand that food and supply costs have been rising everywhere. It’s affecting a lot of small businesses right now.

Despite that, the food still tasted great and the service was kind and professional as always. I appreciate the transparency and will definitely continue to support. Hoping things balance out soon for everyone!“

“Sushi Hachi is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to; it was so good that my boyfriend and I went back two nights in a row. Their cocktails are great, and my personal favourite was the 8th street specialty sushi. The atmosphere and mood is calm and pleasant, and the staff and service is top notch. I have to mention our waitress too from the second time, Soko. She remembered us from the previous night, she even remembered which drink she had made me! And she took the time to make some recommendations for us, and brought us some miso on the house and was just the most pleasant and friendly waitress I have had in a while. Thank you!!! 8 seating omakase with three menu that allow for the experience without overcomitting at first. And makes you want to go back for the next level!

I would expect the menu to change - we had some amazing bites from what you would expect like toro but also surprises like the cod.

Very good drinks to go with it as well.

Chef and staff make it a very intimate experience socializing respectfully with the level of comfort and interest of each diner.“

We chose the Omakase signature selection so we could get a sense of every course they had to offer, and everything was great. This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. “Had a nice early dinner at Uchi tonight.
Ordered mainly off of the happy hour menu.
The subarashi was very refreshing.
Hama chilli was flavorful. The don buri with wagyu, kimchi, mushrooms, neg I and sushi rice that was crispy was amazing. Brussels sprouts with sweet chili and lemon were very flavorful. Bluefin akami and hamachi were well presented and tasty. I ordered the Fried milk dessert as I had heard it was a must. The fired balls, ice cream and cookie were excellent - however I was very disappointed in the chocolate mousse. I’m a chocoholic and couldn’t eat it because it was extremely salty.
Overall the meal was a good experience.“

My only complaint is that when my glucose level dropped very low, I asked for a cup so I could get some ice and drink something to raise my sugar. Unfortunately, I never received the cup. As someone living with diabetes, this was not only disappointing but also concerning, since timely support in those moments is very important. “Omg my shrimp pad Thai was SOOOO GOOD!!! The last time I had a Thai meal this good was in Thailand!! Eveything is so authentic! I also ordered the mango sticky rice to go ans haven’t tried it yet but I know it’s gonna be good.

“We stopped at Speedy Snack after visiting the Portrait Gallery because we wanted to grab a quick bite, and we were honestly blown away! We are pretty picky about sushi and weren’t expecting much from a quick, casual spot, but the food was so fresh and delicious and completely exceeded our expectations.

The staff were also incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. We don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but we were genuinely so impressed that we had to share. Such a great little find!“

“Chef Ricky is a rockstar and the curation of the foods was exceptional. The only complaint is that it is so hard to get the reservation, but Amex concierge was able to help me. I went in twice in a row! The add ons-assorted uni and others were definitely worth it.
Melon beer from Japan was delicious as well.

“I’ve found myself inside the MGM National Harbor Casino twice and each time I’ve stopped here for a late night dinner. Both times I was impressed with the quality of the fish and for the price, the convenience of having this in the food area is great. I’ve tried the nigiri options as well as the raw roll options and neither time did I feel like the food wasn’t fresh despite it being very late and nobody else around. Don’t expect much of an atmosphere but the sushi bar does allow for a quick meal in peace.“

“Bento Box was a little different than I’m used to. I ordered the salmon sushi box and it came with three salmon sushi. I guess you could call it that they were cooked on top then with a drizzle of wasabi dressing. The tempura was two pieces of an egg plant and two pieces of potato. The miso soup was, I guess dark red miso because it tasted rather strange to me, but I couldn’t decide if it was dark red miso so or salty beef lol.“
