Served tea in a DISGUSTING tea pot that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days (see picture). I wanted to throw up after realizing I had just had an entire cup of tea that came out of this. When we asked for a new pot of tea due to it being so nasty, the waitress said “That is just the tea staining the pot” and then she reluctantly brought a new pot of tea. The new tea pot was totally clean, which made it even more obvious that the first one was disgusting and unacceptable....read full review
🥰what a charming and beautiful, picture- perfect, extraordinarily perfect place in the entire dc/md/va area for high tea! Forget the hotels! If you want a delicious , loveliest experience, take you and a friend here immediately!
I enjoyed the Bottomless Afternoon Tea Soft Opening at Lady Camellia. I enjoyed the chicken and egg salad sandwiches, macarons, Jasmine Green Tea and all of the pastries. I am so glad they reopened. I look forward to ordering some Scones To go. The servers were very welcoming. I had fun.

Based on the reviews, Lady Camellia offers a complete package of enjoyment with wonderfully attentive service and a serene, beautiful atmosphere. The food is delicious, with the English Pie being totally amazing and scones that are delicious beyond belief. The High Tea and afternoon tea are popular, with moist and tasty tea sandwiches. The croissants are super flaky and buttery, and the macrons are excellent. The strawberry white tea is a favorite. The restaurant has a great location in the heart of Old Town Alexandria with lots of bright light, making it a perfect place for events like baby showers or birthday celebrations. However, the prices are extraordinarily expensive and the service is just ok for groups of 6+.
