“I’ve been coming here since it’s close to home. But coffee ain’t been improving. Their yogurt parfait only has 1 sliced strawberry and 4 blueberries. I counted because it’s obvious. I hope the management can address all the pricing concerns mentioned here. I like the place - closest to my home. I’m able to walk my dog and order my non dairy milk coffee. It’s one of the few that offers that. Servers are nice too. I’m also questioning if they replace their pastries everyday. 😅“

“This cafe is the best part of cafes. Amazing tasty food. Genuinely good coffee. Friendly staff. I love the atmosphere. The seating is cozy and there’s always calming music playing. The free water is infused water! In the morning this is the place to wake up in and it will set your day off for success.“

“Swing’s serves some of the best coffee in the city. Roasted dark, nutty, and just shy of too acidic, the kind of cup that wakes up your soul and your skepticism. The beans, flown in from Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Costa Rica, clearly traveled better than you did as mandated by GSA travel per diems.
The baristas, meanwhile, maintain the quiet confidence of people who know they’re serving excellence and would prefer you not to ruin the vibe by existing. They glide around with the aloof grace of caffeinated monks, and somehow, that indifference makes the experience feel almost holy.
It’s coffee worth the attitude. Bring humility — and cash.“

“I was in a training near the 15th Street location of Zeke’s. Found it the first morning and went back every day. Shared my experience with others and we all loved it. A local was amazed at her coffee and will be a regular now. The employees were so kind and remembered my order every single day. Best dirty chai I’ve ever had! Quality coffee. Friendly employees. Great prices.“
“Best pour over ever! This isn’t just a coffee shop. It’s a coffee experience. The ambience, the friendliness, and the small batch coffee is awesome. As others have shared, there is drip coffee, pour over, cold brew, and tea brewed on the spot, so be willing to give yourself time. The proprietors are also friendly and we had great conversation along with great coffee. This is a regular visit for me in DC“
“This location is very nice. Especially the outdoor seating facing the street. The staff here is excellent, nice and helpful. My chai was pretty good and it's cool that they have a few drinks on draft. I haven't seen that in many coffee shops definitely a neat feature. I didn't try any food so my review is only regarding service and drinks.“

“Had an outstanding experience at Unido Coffee! Ordered the salad and a Panama Geisha coffee — both were exceptional. The Geisha was beautifully prepared and really showcased the beans' quality. The salad was fresh and hit the spot. What really stood out was the customer service — the team was welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend if you're in DC and appreciate great coffee and good vibes. Will definitely be back“

“It’s heating up in the DMV, which means I’m back to my warm weather go-to: Via Volcán’s Iced Flash Brew. It’s the perfect pick-me-up on a hot day—bright, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. That, or the Espresso Tonic, and you really can’t go wrong with either. Both are made with Via Volcán’s caturra bean, brought straight from their family farm in Panama and roasted in-house right here in Old Town. The medium roast is vibrant and fresh, with fruity notes, just the right acidity, and a smooth cocoa finish. This is hands down the best coffee in Old Town. And don’t forget to head upstairs! That’s where the magic happens (you can actually see where the coffee is roasted) and where you’ll find extra seating tucked away above the buzz.“
