The only thing that needed a smidge more seasoning was the fried green tomatoes. The first time I ordered them they were seasoned perfectly. “What a hidden gem Dionne’s and Scarlet & Oak are! I ordered the chicken sandwich and crab fries… and YUM! My friend ordered the fish sandwich and crab fries and our total was $28. For DC, that’s inexpensive but even better, it was delicious. The entire space is beautiful, clean, and bright. This would be a great place for many different types of events. I’m already thinking about who and what I can bring back to it so we ensure the local businesses within are supported and it stays open for years to come.“
