“The food is amazing and very good for your money. They serve in large portions. The tuo zaafi is great, the banku with tilapia (very well seasoned and grilled). The jollof is great even my Nigerian friends agreed Ghana jollof has won this round. The koko and burkina are also great especially with the groundnut.I really enjoyed the food and I plan on returning soon.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Found this place via google search. What a find!! Very authentic and delicious Ghanaian dishes. I had the red-red with chicken. It's my favorite Ghana dish and it was great. Huge portion ended up being dinner and leftovers for lunch. I'll definitely be back. Need to try the oxtails and egusi and waatye (sp?).“
“Went here on a humbug slow night. I still liked the vibe. It was just me and the homie touring the city night life. The atmosphere was on point. Nice Jamaican vibes. Great dj. I heard the food was good. Didn't get that far but definitely going back to hang “
“I am visiting and stumbled on this restaurant while strolling the neighborhood. What a diamond in the rough. My husband is from Gambia and he enjoyed everything he ordered. And the staff is outstanding. I will definitely be back for the great African food.“
“If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Ghanaian foods and be entertained by some cool Afrobeats, save yourself the hassle of flying to Accra and drive to Calabash West African Cuisine nearby in Alexandria Virginia. The only Ghanaian restaurant in the DMV area where the food tastes as good as it looks. Chale, go chop there o and enjoy, please abeg!“
