This place was such a delightful discovery! The attentive care by the owner and staff made us feel welcomed and at home. And the food was so good! Truly fantastic. We had the grilled tilapia with bantu and okra soup with fufu. We were super grateful for water and bowl at our table to wash our hands before and after the meal, too. We'll definitely be back.
You don’t got to be a dickhead to pass a message. Be kind and be nice .
P.s this is to the white guy that serves drinks
Excellent food! The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly! The Jollof duce and red stew were excellent and they not stingy!🙌🏾 The Waakye was excellent as well! And the grilled jerk chicken wings were cooked perfectly as well and tasty.

Calabash African Cuisine & Bar offers an authentic West African dining experience in a welcoming and inviting space. The menu features flavorful dishes like jollof rice with chicken, red snapper, tilapia, and spicy meatballs, all expertly prepared. The Jollof Rice with Chicken is a popular dish, full of rich, bold flavor, though some note the portion size of meat could be better. The fufu with beef is also divine, and the mocktails are super refreshing and pretty to look at. The restaurant's newly renovated space is spacious and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome. Customers have enjoyed dishes like suga kebabs with plantains, which are smoky, chewy, slightly sweet, and uniquely shaped. The portions are generous, and small touches like providing soap and hot water for handwashing before meals add to the positive experience. Overall, Calabash offers great food and service, making it a favorite spot for West African cuisine.
