“First time back since renovations and wow what a story this place is. It started with the chicken & waffles. The meat was really pink and hard to bite into so I decided to do french toast instead. (Minus the almond cookies.) and it was delicious but it was soft as butter so I had to request a spoon 😮 On top of that, the bartender complimented not only my neurodivergent tattoos 🏳️‍🌈♾️ but also gave me a free mocktail. Though I will warn you it’s real strong. I tasted mostly lemon but it had a hint of maple and tea. Which is ironic because strong taste is why I prefer tea over coffee (if I had to pick between the two). Regardless, these people deserve some love especially in the economic crises we have.“

“It is a nice bar with good quality drinks. The weird part was that we had to wait quite a long time at the door and then were told to wait more until our reservation at 9pm. While we waited 3 other couples came in and were turned away as they did not have reservations… one couple was told to come after 45min. Then when we entered at 9pm the place was half empty with many free tables 🤷🏻‍♀ I guess they don't need clients and felt bad for couples who were told to leave despite being half empty…“

Crab dip and shrimp $ grits were out of this world! And the views are just breathtaking.

“Flavor was redundant, but you definitely get what you pay for. The crab cakes were the best thing on the menu and we loved how it was actually a crab cake! A lot of places call a piece of fried bread with some crab meat ij it a crab cake, but not Vola's, they are the real deal! Matisse was our waitress and she was great!“

Old review: Charged me three times for a single night stay, then added a fake charge for $45. Called and was told the issue was fixed, nothing happened so I spoke to the front desk upon arrival - they “fixed” the issue by charging me the 3rd time. After checking out and getting proof that I didn’t add any services to the room, in writing, a fake charge of $45 appeared on my credit card. Beware.“

“When you think of a speakeasy… this place looks like what comes to mind. Down a flight of stairs leading to oversized doors you find yourself stepping back in time and greeted by a skilled bartender sporting a handlebar mustache. Great for an after dinner drink or to just hang out with friends.“

“I went during the late afternoon. Parking was ok. I was able to find street parking. I walked in as a first time customer and was greeting with a warm welcome. The staff talked to me about the different areas of the restaurant and upcoming events. I was waited on almost immediately. My drink came first; which was really good and priced well. I ordered wings and salad. Everything came out hot and tasted really good. The vibes during this time I day was chill with good music. I was told they have DJs later on in the evening. Overall I had a great experience. I would definitely go again.“

He went above and beyond to make the day feel extra special — from his kind attitude to his incredible attention to detail. Prices are what you'd expect for a place in the city, but it's totally worth it for the quality and experience. The mix drinks were impressive. The staff were super acoomodating and friendly. The place is also decked out nicely, it has a relaxed yet kinda fancy feel. It's not super spacious, but that's part of its charm. Its a friendly dive bar vibe with class. Seriously, if you're looking to hang out, celebrate, or just grab a a drink and chill this is your spot. “I recently dined at Space DC Restaurant & Lounge, and I must say their exceptional customer care truly stood out. As someone with a severe allergy, dining out can often be a stressful experience. However, the staff at Space went above and beyond to ensure my meal was not only safe but thoroughly enjoyable.

Upon informing the bartender, Josue Vasquez, about my allergy, he immediately reassured me and took detailed notes to communicate with the chef, Marcel Che, and Sous Chef, James Jones. What really impressed me was their proactive approach: Chef Che personally came out to discuss my dietary restrictions and preferences. On hand, there was not such an enhancement for my dish so they crafted a special dipping sauce on the spot, ensuring it was free from any allergens and tailored to my taste.

The attention to detail and genuine concern for my well-being made the entire dining experience incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The food was delicious, and knowing that it was prepared with such care made it even more enjoyable. “An Incredible Experience at Realm Rooftop DC!

Realm Rooftop DC hosted my private watch party for my show, Put A Ring On It: CHEATHAB on OWN, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience.

From the moment we arrived, Evens Charles and the entire Realm team made me and my guests feel welcomed, celebrated, and incredibly well taken care of. Hosting an event tied to something as personal and special as my television show meant a lot to me, and they understood the assignment!

The rooftop itself is beautiful, sophisticated, and has the perfect DC energy. But what really stood out was the level of service. The staff was attentive, professional, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure the evening was a success. Every detail mattered, and I never felt like I had to worry about whether my guests were being taken care of…… AND the food was YUMMY!!!!!

The atmosphere was perfect for bringing people together, watching the show, and having an amazing conversation afterward about love and relationships. My guests had a wonderful time, and so did I.

I travel often and host events in different cities, so I don’t take exceptional hospitality for granted. Realm Rooftop DC gave me exactly that.

Thank you to Evens Charles and the entire Realm team for helping make my DC Put A Ring On It: CHEATHAB watch party such a memorable night. I would absolutely host another event here and recommend Realm to anyone looking for a beautiful rooftop venue in DC with a team that truly knows how to take care of its guests.

“I DO NOT fully recommend Air Restaurant. I don’t do this. I usually experience a new place and reserve that experience for myself. But I want to sound an alarm for anyone looking for an EXCLUSIVE experience at Air lounge. I just left. Let me set the stage for you. Atmosphere is great! Venue, great! And our service was very friendly and helpful… let’s get to the main bits…. If you are interested in “VIP BOTTLE SERVICE” please know that there is a 2 hour limit. This was never communicated to us. Not once! We paid the fee. Bought food. For roughly a $500 tab (gratuity was included) but we were told at a certain point that we had to “finish up”. Before we were done with our bottle! No where on the website did (does) it indicate that there was/is a two hour minimum (we provided recipes to the manager on duty). So you can imagine our surprise when the staff approached us with this news. To make things worse… I asked the new folks sitting next to us if they’d bought the VIP bottle service. She said “no, we just reserved the booth. No fee. Excuse me??? Jokes on us in guess. Myself, and the people with me, where celebrating. We paid for the premium “VIP” experience and we’re told we had to “wrap up” before we finished our bottle! WHAT DOES “VIP Bottle service” mean exactly to Air Restaurant??? Do not get VIP service here. It means nothing. We paid our money (plus gratuity). So they got theirs. But did we get ours… Na! Be cautious. Save money. Just reserve a table. Attached is an example of an event happening next week, currently on their web site. As you can see… no mention of any 2 hour limit. Proceed with caution. Also, I did some deep research to find the “2 hour table” reference I was presented with by the manager. Found this on Yelp/Open Table. (See attachment) Does this actually apply to VIP ($300+) “Bottle service” tables!? Or just the regular tables!? Someone please help me understand! What does VIP REALLY mean here? And also…. Who’s going directly to “open door” To make a reservation with them? You’d most likely visit their website… Right? Can someone please help me make this make sense?“
