I’ve been to SOST twice now and I’ll be making it my third this Friday without a doubt. I’ll tell you this was a top tier experience from beginning to end each time I’ve come, but this time particularly takes the cake. The ambiance is so unbelievably warm and vibey, the real standout has to be the music mix and the way it really transcends your dining experience truly. A premiere afterhours spot in DC. My 1st time visiting from NY and depending on the promoter I will return. HOWEVER, the 2nd floor needs to be reinforced. The ground wss moving while we were dancing which made me VERY nervous
Incredible!! Great food and great service. Food is very very flavorful, def not whitewashed. Delicious.
The manager was great at serving us, even helping with the baby. Such a great manager!

Sost Resto-Lounge is a stylish new spot with a multi-level layout and a sophisticated design, creating an upscale atmosphere perfect for relaxing evenings. The soft lighting, plush seating, and modern decor give it a chic vibe, similar to a New York City night. The lounge features a speakeasy, cafe, and lounge area, making it an ideal place for solo nights, dates, or hanging out with friends. The space is especially popular among a mature crowd, with four floors each offering different vibes, attracting attractive, grown guests ready to enjoy themselves.
The drinks at Sost are impressive, with creative cocktails like Sahara Smoke and Moroccan Mint, crafted with a perfect balance of flavors. The bartenders serve great mystic and mocktails, and pair drinks with spiced appetizers. The Sahara Smoke cocktail has a refreshing finish with smoky depth. The cafe vibe is also appreciated, with quick service and friendly staff, making it a great spot for coffee lovers too.
The food at Sost shows promise, with some dishes already delicious. The Grandma's Suya and Sost Chicken Wings are cooked thoroughly and seasoned perfectly, while the Sost Cheeseburger is tasty but basic, not fully matching the upscale vibe. Fries are simple, but the overall food offerings are enjoyable, even if limited at times. During brunch, different dishes were ordered and all enjoyed their meals, with staff being accommodating and attentive to special requests.
Service at Sost has room for improvement, as staff sometimes appear distracted and lack coordination. However, the staff can be friendly and welcoming, with some servers providing excellent service and a great environment. The owners or managers could work on better communication and professionalism to enhance the experience.
Despite some imperfections, Sost has a lot of potential to become a must-visit nightlife destination. Its stunning space, solid cocktails, and enjoyable food make it a promising spot that, with some improvements in service, can truly fulfill its promise.
